The best grill — Restaurant in Christchurch

This was hands down the worst souvlaki and grill I’ve ever had in my life. We ordered two open souvlakis (beef and chicken), a mixed grill, and chicken wings for takeaway. The souvlakis were drenched in so much sauce that it poured out with every bite. I couldn’t taste anything but the overpowering sweet and sour sauce (whatever that was). The mixed grill was a total disaster. The meat was so dry it felt like chewing on cardboard, and the beef was completely inedible. Even the chicken wings were disappointing—KFC chicken would’ve been a better choice. For over NZD100, I was absolutely ripped off.

I ordered a hummus with meat and pita bread through Uber eats. I received the hummus ( ordinary) with meat ( cold on arrival) , no pita bread. When I rang to tell them ,they told me to call Uber eats and complain. I did….I never received the pita bread I am really disappointed with the poor service and would not recommend them. Ordered pita bread from supreme kebab… quick service and still hot...

I ordered the shawarma meal last night through uber eats and it was amazing. I got the meal hot even though I live 15mins away. Good packaging and fresh food. The shawarma was so good I loved that they use thin pita bread and not tortillas like most most restaurants do. The garlic sauce is DELICIOUS. I'm so happy I found this place. I will definitely be a regular....
