I'd just finished work and I was craving for a good beer. Cycled up to Punky Brewster at 9:45, fifteen minutes before they close. Walked in and was told that they had already closed. Got some sarcastic comment from the big bird behind the bar that I'd had enough because I was out of breath from cycling to the place. Whilst I always knew that their in house brewed beers were not that good, I was happy to support them by buying their takeout beers. To rock up sober and be accused of being drunk just because I was out of breath, I can not recommend this place to anyone. Do yourself a favour and go to somewhere more inviting. Both the male and female staff were next level rude and unhelpful. Won't be going back. (October) We did go back, unfortunately the pretentious guy in the pink overalls.
