I love my food and don't mind paying money for good food.
5 of us and our total bill was over $250
I firstly ordered a peiking duck and a few shared dishes while my friends are still parking. Let me reitterate a peiking duck, which is a whole duck. When my friends arrived we ordered some seperate dishes, which included a roast pork & bbq pork on rice.
While we ordered the young man had an attitude and didn't seem to give a rat's @ss what we were saying and looking into space.
Our dishes came and he gave us a bbq pork and roast duck on rice - I told him we ordered a roast pork and bbq pork on rice. He forcefully and rudely said I asked for roast duck and bbq pork... Continued to argue that this was what I ordered.
I tried to tell him, why on earth would I get a seperate roast duck and bbq pork dish when I have a whole duck on the table. He still had attitude and in denial.
Unfortunately I won't go back there, even though it was going to my new local for Chinese roast meals.
Absolutely disgusting guy at the front - this was not the first time. We gave them.. well let's say him a few chances.
Looking at past reviews a LOT of others find him repulsive to your restaurant .
You need to get rid of him if you want loyal customers to keep coming back.
Until he's gone you've lost a customer willing to pay...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFood is always good. Use to love this place. The two star is purely because one waiter's manners and service. The guy who worked on Sunday 6th Feb needs some manners taught. He looked angry the whole time I was there. You could see it in every movement and attitude that he was angry. I was fine with it because life can't always be happy, until the following events occurred. When asked for chiili oil he almost dropped/threw the chiili on the table. When approaching the counter to pay for the food, he stamped the price on the eftpos machine and shoved it to me without a single word. I do have a small voice, but when asked what I'm paying for he got angry at me saying "what do you want", told me that I should check the price and know what it is. Told me each menu that I ordered with anger and shoved me the paper menu that I should do the maths myself. You really need to teach this boy some attitude or manners. If you can handle his anger issues, the food is great.
--------update--- Visited again a few weeks ago. Someone must have updated the worker of his manners. Enjoyed the stay and food. Thank you for feeding this back to your staff....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLunch menu starts from $22 per dish. A little pricey but understandable as they serve complimentary Chinese tea and soup and the portions were huge! One dish can actually feed two people but we wanted to try both the roast duck and roast pork. Roast duck was delicious and duck oil coated the rice, making every bite a delight. Roast pork was tender yet had a wonderful crunchy skin. Admittedly, towards the end, it got a bit cloying as it was quite rich but the Chinese tea helped in refreshing our palates. Unexpectedly the restaurant is bigger on the inside and looks like any typical Chinese restaurant. Service was fast (don't blink) - received our food within 15 minutes. Staff were pretty welcoming upon our entry into the restaurant and assisted promptly when we needed anything but otherwise left us to our meal, which we appreciated. They also sell various ingredients at the cashier - chilli oil, peanuts, salted fish, duck wings, duck feet etc. May need a translation tool though.
A whole roast duck for takeaway is $50 and they very kindly entertained my request to have the bones separated. Would happily...
