Billow — Restaurant in North Island

I am blown away by Billow. Morning buns are out of this world, and to put that in context, I've lived in Denmark, arguably a pastry capital of the world. Billow's are better than Copenhagen's! I dream of a future where there's a little Billow in every midsize NZ town. Til then, head down this quirky alley in Ngāmotu / New Plymouth and embrace...

Lovely! Really cute place for good coffee and to pick up a sourdough loaf - you can watch them being made and fetched out of the oven. They also sell a small selection of sweet things and some stuff on toast. All in a really interesting new development made out of shipping containers squeezed between buildings. Look for the Quarter Bank sign...

Lovely spot hidden via a "secret" art-filled alley off the main street. Lovely bakes priced between 4.70 to 6.80. limited seating available, so half the people coming in are doing takeaways.
