HELL Pizza - Petone — Restaurant in North Island

The support for correcting mistakes at this store is terrible:

My recent pick up order included 1/2 KG of chicken wings. When I collected the order I was only given 1/4 KG and when I questioned it the store manager admitted the mistake and offered to cook the other 1/4 (a 15 min wait) or refund the full $17.

Fair enough, mistakes happen - it's what happened next that has left a bad taste in my mouth.

I opted for the refund but upon checking my bank a week later I noted that it hadn't cleared. I emailed Hell Pizza, then the store called me the next day - missed call and didn't leave a message. I called them back and found out it was the store - the person on the phone insisted 3 times that the refund had already been placed (as if to give me the impression that I just needed to wait longer), finally I was able to get them to admit that they had only organised the refund after received my email complaint.

Over multiple orders, every time a thin stretched pizza is ordered, toppings end up on the lid (see photo for latest example). As a company who place themselves as a premium product, why do the likes of Dominos and Pizza Hut not have this issue? Well, they simply place a paper ketchup cup in the centre of the pizza, ensuring they don’t have this issue for the sake of a few cents.

Just ordered a pizza from uber eats. I received the smallest pizza of my life, very disappointed. In hindsight I did order a 7.5 inch pizza but I'm also putting the blame on Hell's pizza because we live in a country where the metric system is the official system of NZ and is the only one taught in the school system.
