Haven't been to this place for several years and remembered why on going back today. The 'Curries' are basically a bowl of soup. Very bland and not enjoyable. Beware the 'Lunch Menu' RIP off. Signs outside advertise lunch specials, you get given a menu with lunch specials at the front. Roti Chenai with 2 roti's is special price of $10.90. Ask if the 2 roti's can be upgraded to garlic roti and all they say is no problem. When the bill comes they charge you the regular price for curry and 1 garlic roti and then add on top the regular price for 1 more garlic roti so your 'lunch special' now costs you $16.90. They need to at least say lunch specials can't be upgraded or tell you how the lunch special you ordered will now be charged so you can make up your mind if you want a bit if garlic to...

In the early 90's this place was the best for value for a 20 something looking for an ethnic meal under $5 for lunch. 20 years later I walk in with my wife and child and I recognize the faces of the person making the food and the person waiting on the tables. It's the same people I shared my low cost lunches with! The amazing thing is that they recognize my wife and I! We smile and grab a seat and introduce them to our soon to be 21 year old daughter and the faces change from recognition to "OMG I'm old" The food is always good.
