New insta-spot alert! A beautiful new cafe just opened on Willis Street (not related to previous owner) it was a very big space and they've done such a great job with it, it looks cosy with instagrammable dividers between seatings, a comfy couch and fireplace corner to catch up with friends on, and there's also a photobooth at the end of the cafe with props you can used to take photos with, super adorable place! The menu is really extensive with a huge matcha list, cocktails, lots of items to choose from for breakfast-lunch, we got the cookies and cream frappe with coconut milk + matcha frappe. Really liked my cookies and cream, highly recommend! We also got the best selling waffles with berry compote and the pan fried fish (moki) and orzo. I don't think I've seen orzo on a menu before, it was so good! It wasn't the expected Italian flavours, more tropical with the tangy pineapple and tomatoes, never had anything like this before, was so impressed! The waffles were crunchy enough on the outside with the Mascarpone and berries balanced out perfectly so it wasn't sickly, I've been craving waffles for a while so this ticked all the boxes! So glad we ordered what we ordered, so satisfied! Also was so impressed it was packed today so might need to book though! Their opening hours are also attractive from 7/8am until 9pm, there are now quite a few very good breakfast-lunch places to consider on this part of the...

Food, vibes and ambience! My friends and I were roaming around the city and stumbled upon this very chill and welcoming cafe. Perfect place as we're waiting for our flight back to Auckland, had a lot of spare time and used it here to lounge around and even take photos in the photobooth!

A good selection of food and beverages, mix of classic kiwi and southeast asian flavours!

I had the sour soup (sinigang), perfect for my filipino taste. However having an option for either pasta or rice would be good to have for future customers (i had both 😛)

I also had the Vietnamese drip coffee (with extra condensed milk of course) which was perfect 👌🏻

My friends ordered a couple of desserts. Tiramisu, hojicha cheesecake and the normal cheesecake. The desserts were nice and not too sweet but they all had a lemony-zesty flavour which over powered the flavour of the desserts. Still nice tho.

The staff are very nice and welcoming, thank you!

Would come back here again for the food and especially the vibes next time we come down to Welly.

Good job Trã team and...

What a great find!

Super cozy, lovely café with a Nordic/modern Japanese atmosphere. We were so happy to discover this new spot.

It’s spacious, with different areas that offer a bit of privacy—especially when it’s not too crowded. There's even a cozy sofa area, which adds to the relaxed vibe. What a fantastic setting—we loved it!

We stopped by for a coffee and a chat just before 3 pm yesterday, a time when most cafés are already closed or about to close.

This place stays open until 9 p.m.—amazing! The coffee was perfect, and the staff were really friendly. They offer both cabinet food and a menu. Next time, we’re definitely coming back to try their food!

Highly...
