Worst Experience at Domino’s Wānaka
Today, I ordered a Vegetarian Classic Cheese Pizza from Domino’s Wānaka and explicitly mentioned that I do not want any meat, chicken, or anything non-vegetarian. Unfortunately, after taking the pizza home and eating four slices, I noticed a piece of meat on the pizza.
This was extremely upsetting, as I do not eat non-vegetarian food, and it goes against my personal preferences. Such carelessness in handling dietary requests is unacceptable.
I have attached a photo as evidence of the issue. Domino’s must improve their quality control and ensure they respect their customers’ dietary preferences. This experience has left me deeply disappointed and hurt.

It is disheartening to see such a dismissive and unprofessional response from Domino’s regarding my concern. First and foremost, we traveled an hour after picking up the pizza before noticing the issue. The photo I provided clearly shows a piece of meat on the pizza, yet your response denies this and suggests it is red onion, which is blatantly incorrect.
Your explanation that ingredients can mix due to limited control is unacceptable. As a customer, I specifically requested a vegetarian pizza and trusted Domino’s to honor my dietary preference. Instead, I’ve been subjected to negligence, and now you’re refusing to take responsibility.
Additionally, your tone in this public forum is rude and dismissive. Suggesting that I should visit your store to review your policy is not only impractical but also condescending. This approach does not address the fact that my trust in your service has been broken.

Read moreLast night we made an order at regular pricing when we went to collect at the time indicated was told would be another ten minutes, came back 15 minutes later was told 16 more minutes well I stood there the time on the screen went up 3 more times before I told them to cancel it, when queried why the increases was told by your staff this was because people could pay to cut in line.
This is a crappy system whether it is to blame or not especially when you are already struggling to keep up with demand because of your promotion.

We called to try and correct it, but after being left on hold for ten minutes the store manager flat out denied that we’d asked for a vegetarian option - despite that being the very first thing my partner had requested for that pizza, then to top it all off, after continuing to deny what we had asked for, we said we’d have to follow this up with Domino’s and all he could reply with was ‘doesn’t matter, it all comes through to me anyway’ before hanging up.
