Locals to the area. Came for an early date afternoon. Staff downstairs were very nice and accommodating. 5 stars for Rick. The manager though was quite aggressive.
When we got upstairs initially there had been about 3 lanes free and I ordered a drink during our first game out of two. I had been waiting 20 mins for what I thought was an espresso martini(I accidentally ordered a mocktail but would have been happy with that too) and asked about it at the bar and the man at the bar said he was making it. 10 mins later I asked the manager and she said they were busy and he was making it. 35 minutes after I ordered she asked if I had meant to order alcohol or not, because I had ordered a mocktail. Not sure if he had been working on it for 15 minutes already why they’d only be asking then though? I said I’d just like to cancel it at that point because we were nearly at the end of our second game and it was slightly disappointing as I had ordered it at the beginning of our first game. She said “Next time we’ll just tell you when we’re busy so you don’t have to come bowl with us. Maybe the bars in town will serve you better.”
I would have been happy with a sorry or let me check on it. Even my partner said I had asked nicely, so I’m not sure why I was told off just for asking, or expressing slight disappointment. They had told us to order from the table, but if we had been told it was busy and ordering at the bar would be faster we could have done that.

Read moreWhat an incredible night spent at your establishment. Upon exiting our skyline Queenstown activity, we stumbled across your storefront. It looked exciting and inviting so we thought we’d make a quick stop in. Upon entering we were greeted and assisted by your member of staff, Nane.
Myself and my companion just wanted to make mention of how memorable she was to us. Nane made our experience so very special and went above & beyond. She was extremely humble but energetic at the same time and really set the tone for our evening. The way she interacted with not only us, but all the clients was infectious. Her engagement was personable & unique to each and everyone of us.
After purchasing our bowling tickets, we were then chaperoned by your staff member Joe to the games room. He was so welcoming and took the time to explain how to operate the activity and advised us on how we can order menu items.
The time and engagement curated by your wonderful staff meant so much to us. We will most definitely be returning upon our next trip to Queenstown. We would love for you to pass our gratitude...
Read moreOne of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. We travelled down from northland to see our family and decided to book a night here to play bowling. As we entered they had security at the door who immediately singled out one of my family members. He accused him of being intoxicated and told the bar to watch him and not serve him. This was not the case AT ALL. The bar staff continued to make him uncomfortable and stare at him. The bar staff and security were absolutely appalling and after I said something to each of them another staff member attempted to intimidate me with the worst glares. I gave them back our order and asked for a refund. I’ve never in my life been so disgusted and I’m also not one to ever complain but this was such a horrible experience and the staff need a bit of a reality check. This has nothing to do with arcade and everything to do with the bar. We believe it was because of the way my sibling looked more than anything because he did nothing wrong.
