On a sunny day, it’s hard to resist the allure of great coffee, warm hospitality and the stunning backdrop of the Remarkables.

I couldn’t have picked a better drink for the weather than the Iced Mocha (NZD6)! A double shot of rich espresso with chocolate sauce, just the pick-me-up I needed after exploring Queenstown. This chilled delight would usually come topped with whipped cream and a scoop of ice cream at NZD8 but the ice cream ran out when I visited at 3.40 pm so do come earlier for this indulgent treat!

The star of Sweet Coffee Trailer, however, is Aya, the ever-bubbly barista who greeted me with a smile as warm as the summer sun. ☀️ Her friendly greeting and attention to detail made the experience even more memorable. Aya’s passion for coffee truly shines — every cup feels like it’s made with care and love.

Stopping by the Sweet Coffee Trailer was the cat’s whiskers! This charming coffee cart served up a matcha latte and iced lemon tea that were simply meow-velous. Pairing them with a grilled cheese sandwich and a chocolate chip cookie made for a fur-tastic outdoor treat.

The coffee trailer itself is claw-some, with its cozy vibe and welcoming atmosphere. The setup, surrounded by greenery and cute seating, made it feel like the purr-fect place to relax and enjoy the day.

This place is and will always be my go to coffee place for as long as it’s around, service with a smile is an understatement, service comes with a smile, a laugh, a conversation, and is arguably what gets me ready for the day more than the coffee, speaking of the coffee, absolutely fantastic, one of the best I’ve had, and the best part is I don’t usually have to ask for it. My order is remembered and prepared before I can even think to speak hahahah. Furthermore the baked goods sold here are like no other, if u have a sweet tooth you could make a day of going through the menu one by one and it would only get better as you go along, leave the best till last (Dulce le leche).
