We had two different kind of bagels, one was from the menu which was Homade Jambon bagel, and plain jalapeno bagel. First of all, it was big enough, almost like having a full meal, it was worth of prices. Staffs were very nice and explains well especially when i had confusion about is there any selection for bagel when you order menu and also whats the difference of menu bagel and displayed bagel. Jambon bagel has mixture of pickled egg mayo sauce with thin sliced ham which had a great texture. Tomato was fresh and coffee was refreshing my palate so that i could keep on eating. Jalapeno bagel could been too plain compare to Jambon bagel but it was great itself too. Not too spicy so my kid can eat too and its soft chewy with creamy cheesy taste with piece of pickly jalapeno comes in when you have a bite. If i bought this bagel as takeaway next time, i would love to put this bagel in a toaster to make it crispy even. Coffee has nice medium roasted taste which doesnt have too much bitterness or acidity. It was perfectly balanced with bagel. I would love to go again to try all the other bagels next time Thanks again 👍

Today was a quick visit to ABC after seeing it was a recently opened bagel cafe in Ponsonby. We were not disappointed! The ‘open bagels’ loaded homemade Jambon and homemade pastrami were topped and extremely “loaded” (I suggest a knife and fork when consuming 😅). Also sampled the chive/cream cheese bagel which was packed full with filling. The coffee, Supreme is a pretty solid choice, and goes well with a bagel or 3! There is only a restricted area to be seated, so if you are looking to dine in, outside of busy times is recommended. There is a huge selection of in-house mixed cream cheese toppings and other condiments to choose from for those takeaway bagels to be enjoyed at home or office. If you are a bagel fan, definitely don’t pass this one up! 🥯🥯

第一次去覺得還不錯，貝果也蠻好吃的。但是，第二次去的體驗非常糟糕！！！由於同行友人吃全素，看到菜單有些品項有標記”VG”，詢問服務人員是Vegan 還是Vegetarian ，服務人員非常確定的回答Vegan！於是很放心的點了餐，送餐時再次與送餐人員確定貝果是否為Vegan，人員卻表示要全素的話，點餐時要特別備注，但因為餐點已經做好，我們就沒有退掉，選擇收下。後來友人就再點了一樣的餐點，並且備註了VEGAN, please ！結果再次送餐時，店員先是說了因為產品含有非素食的成分，所以送來的不是Vegan的貝果。我覺得非常的離譜！不是應該要在收到餐點訂單時就要向客人反應的嗎？怎麼會在做好餐點，送上桌時才告知顧客？再來，一開始點餐前就與店家確認”VG”是不是指Vegan ，如果餐點不是，為何菜單上還標誌VG？店家是否分不清楚Vegan與Vegetarian 的差別與搞錯的嚴重性？這就像是給穆斯林教的客人食用豬肉或是對有過敏的人食用到花生一樣！這不僅僅是飲食習慣的禁忌，甚至有生命的危險店家這種欺騙的行為非常不妥當！另外補充，當天店員指使顧客使用自助點餐機，所以點餐當下是沒有店員幫助的！以下附上點餐收據證明🧾 - The first time I went, it was pretty good, and the bagels were quite delicious. However, my experience the second time was terrible!!! Since one of my friends is fully vegan, we saw some items on the menu marked with "VG." We asked the staff whether that meant Vegan or Vegetarian, and the staff confidently answered that it meant Vegan! So, we ordered confidently. When the food was delivered, we double-checked with the server to confirm whether the bagels were vegan. The staff said that if we wanted something vegan, we should note it when ordering. Since the food had already been prepared, we decided to accept it instead of returning it. Later, my friend ordered the same dish again and made a note saying "VEGAN, please!" When the food was coming again, the staff first said that since the product contained non-vegan ingredients, the bagel was not vegan. I thought this was completely unreasonable! Shouldn't they have informed us about this when they received the order? Why was this only told to us after the food was prepared and delivered to the table? Also, when we confirmed earlier whether "VG" meant Vegan, if the dish wasn't vegan, why is it still marked as "VG" on the menu? Does the restaurant not understand the difference between Vegan and Vegetarian, and the seriousness of the mistake? This is like serving pork to a Muslim customer or peanuts to someone with an allergy! It's not just a dietary taboo, it can even be life-threatening. The restaurant’s deceptive behavior is completely inappropriate! Additionally, I should mention that the staff instructed customers to use the self-service ordering machine, so there was no staff assistance at the time of ordering! Attached is the receipt for proof of the order.🧾

Was pretty hyped to try these after seeing it all over tiktok/ig. Lil cute spot next to kfc and little & Friday. Service was great, menu was easy to read & affordable. A bit of a queue when we arrived. Unfortunately just wasn’t what we had expected in terms of taste.

We got the homemade bacon, tomato and avo and the strawberry jam and cream cheese was recommended by staff. We found the bagel itself to be a bit bready as opposed to firm/toasty but that may be a personal preference. Both lacked seasoning/taste and were a bit average. The strawb & cream cheese one looked nothing like what you see on the menu, had a couple pieces of strawb & jam drizzled over it. Bacon one was seasoned by the taste of the bacon otherwise no other seasoning. Ordered the most plain ones in hopes that they nailed the taste as other options looked full on.

I know the struggle of finding a good bagel in New Zealand but this is not it. This is round bread with a hole in it. Not sure what they have styled their bagel recipe off of but it’s definitely not New York or Montreal.

This is a cool looking spot and with a decent sized menu so I was excited to try a new bagel place. I got the pastrami and house specialty, brown butter kalamata.

The beef Pastrami was delicious but the flavour profile of the rest of the bagel was off for me. it was overly complicated and its dominant taste was sweetness. The pickle was also not as pictured but instead a mini gherkin which didn’t have enough tang to cut through the rich pastrami.

The browned butter Kalamata was actually a really nice spread. Balanced salty and rich buttery flavour. Let down...
