First experience at BF and I have nothing to really complain about, not even if it seemed to take longer than other customers who ordered after me. In the end, I'm pleasantly full and satisfied from just one special burger. Got the Smack & Cheese limited time burger which was different for sure. Overall, comparing to true American burgers, it still leaves a little something to be desired in terms of the patty's flavor as nearly every other topping overpowered it by far. Yet, still interesting combination and I'm sure I'll come back to try a much more simple "American" one next time. This particular location definitely gets busy around 1pm on a Friday, but not so much that it should turn you away. Staff was courteous. Ver, very clean. Also, wasn't quite sure what to do with their trademarked Doofer, but haha eventually got it and was definitely a big help w this messy one.

I have been coming to your stores for almost 20 years and this week we had a grotesque experience which I would like to share with you. 1 -The service was very poor as the attendant was on training and he had long conversations with the Manager without paying any attention to us 2- The burger was unorganized with pieces (4-5) of cold chicken and more lettuce than anything else. 3- After our order, we were told that the only toilet available was inside of the cinema, a very long way from the shop. My dad who can not go upstairs ended up pissing himself on the way only to return tired to the table to eat a cold burger! I believe that this is not fair to customers and does not comply with the law (Building Act 2004). This is a very disrespectful way to treat a family.

I’m a Burgerfuel regular and as I travel round Auckland a bit I have visited a number of stores. This experience left me unimpressed. The staff at the Queen Street store were friendly enough, but the fries were a tad undercooked so they were soggy. Not the usual crispy fries I am used to. The other thing that stood out was the appalling state of the dining area. The tables and floors were disgusting, to the point we considered taking our food and eating elsewhere. If the place was busy I could understand the mess, but there was a group of staff standing around just chatting in the kitchen, and nobody seemed in any hurry to clean the tables. On the positive side the Iron Rebel burger was awesome…my new favourite.

Came here after reading the reviews. Not disappointed. Smallish place but quick turnover. Came on Saturday evening and most are takeouts. Got my order in within 5min, and got my food *hand-delivered after another 5min. Ordered The Bastard. Damn... Must be one of the largest burger I've eaten. Jaw hurts... :-D Tasty patty. Just the right balance of flavours and texture from the lettuce/onions/sauce. Would have love to add a little ketchup though. Will def visit again to try other burgers

This place changed from couple of years ago. It was much better then. My burger came cold. All together, bread beef patty.... I don't understand why since it's made on the spot and I was the only one in the whole restaurant.!!! The beef patty was dry and tasted like paper..is it because I ordered hahal so it s just old unpopular stuff here? Also the girl at the front desk needs to adopt a better attitude. Music was very loud. It made it a Stressful place to eat.

A very good burger. Worth the price definitely. Had worse burgers before in Auckland for much more money. Tried the BBQ roadster with sweet potato fries. The fries were top notch. Haven't had better before in any country we visited. The burger was good as well. Top much bun for the meat (would go well with a double, but a bit too much for a single. Missed a tomato as well). But that's only personal preference. However, Thanks for the pleasant experience.
