BurgerFuel Queen Street — Restaurant in Waitematā

I have been going to Mt Roskil since it opened and burger fuel has been my regular Friday night cheat meal. It first started when I ordered a ford freakout then I returned home, bit into the burger and it was raw; blood gushed from the Pattie. After feeling really sick I went back and showed the manager, she tried to go out of her way to make it up to me and assured me it wouldn't happen again, with a full refund. I recently decided il give them the benefit of the doubt and went back only to have a similar situation happen. I ordered the special this time the New summer fish a chups, lets just say you could of asked your self, if u wanted a burger with that mayo and thick burnt batter. This is something I expect from a lower grade eatery like mc donalds; not somewhere I pay for quality, service and taste at triple the price!!! definitely Has lost its quality and...

First experience at BF and I have nothing to really complain about, not even if it seemed to take longer than other customers who ordered after me. In the end, I'm pleasantly full and satisfied from just one special burger. Got the Smack & Cheese limited time burger which was different for sure. Overall, comparing to true American burgers, it still leaves a little something to be desired in terms of the patty's flavor as nearly every other topping overpowered it by far. Yet, still interesting combination and I'm sure I'll come back to try a much more simple "American" one next time. This particular location definitely gets busy around 1pm on a Friday, but not so much that it should turn you away. Staff was courteous. Ver, very clean.

Finding myself in need of some nourishment when in Auckland's CBD at tea time last week I nipped into the small Burger Fuel for a veg burger and fries. The standard of Burger Fuel was once consistently high and you knew what to expect, but this experience was disappointing. There was no one at the counter for a time and then when she did come out to take my order she was seemed really grumpy. I wasn't asked my name and when the order was ready she shouted out the things I'd ordered rather than the order number to identify me. Burger Fuel chips are usually great but the oil tasted decidedly off, like it had been used too many times and not changed when it should.
