Grey Lynn Roast — Restaurant in Waitematā

I placed my order then realized the establishments grade was a 'D grade' but the Pest Control was a C Grade. They swapped the certificates around, very tricky tactic, i asked for a refund but the elder foreigner man was very rude and said it's too late, even though the food is in the display area (as seen in pics).

Upon leaving i went to grab my "355ml drink" that comes with the combo, only for the older foreign man to say that it's not the coke range, but the cheaper range of drinks from the lesser known companies. I do not recommend anybody eating here.

Had the "Vietnamese grilled pork salad". They made it fresh, big portion for $7.50. The typical takeaway stuff didn't look like anything special.

It's so hard to find good, authentic Vietnamese food in Auckland and these folks are doing it for cheap. They should ditch the takeaways and focus on the Vietnamese food.

Don’t let the name make you believe this is just a dusty old roast shop… it’s actually dusty old Vietnamese. No nonsense bahn-mi (“roast pork roll”), wonton soup, spring roll (with a delicious curry flavour), pork on rice.. the flavours are all there just like the streets of Ho Chi Min.
