Toro Churro — Restaurant in Waitematā

Hands down some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced! Went on Sunday, ordered a ‘6 pack drizzled’ so basically 6 churros with sauce drizzled on it. Asked for white chocolate and caramel sauce, was told you’re only allowed 1 sauce unless its chocolate or caramel sauce where you could have those 2 together. The ‘new’ sauces you could only have 1. Well that’s funny because no where does it say what these ‘new’ sauces are and I was at the Sylvia Park stand the day before and they did 2 sauces no problem! So the girl said she could do 3 churros of 1 sauce then 3 of the other. I was getting annoyed by this stage and said no instead of a 6 pack I’ll just do 3, she then proceeds to tell me no she can’t do 3 she’s already put 6 churros in the deep fryer! Excuse me, I’m the customer, you don’t tell me what I can order, I tell you what I’d like to order! It is not my problem if you’ve already put them in the deep fryer, serve them to the next customer behind me. Most unhelpful, obnoxious service I’ve ever experienced. Will absolutely never...

Hi there folks. I was a customer at toro churro Queen st Auckland city on Sunday the 5th of August 2018. I ordered a 6 pack of churros and whilst waiting patiently the order took 25mins to receive and when I finally received my order the churros were semi cold. apparently the Indian lady who took my order had made a huge mistake by giving me part of another customers order that had been sitting for approximately 15mns prior to serving it was very unprofessional and incompetent in every sense of the word. I did not question this Indian lady as to why she did what she did but instead I gave her a subtle but disappointing look and then I proceeded to leave. I will probably go back there today and follow it up with the manager of that establishment and hopefully in doing this will restore my faith and confidence as this service was absolutely...

A friend and I were debating between the jumbo churros or the drizzled churros, then we had to decide between a 3 or 6 pack - 6 pack was the right decision tbh bc we finished it in no time! Since there was only one employee working at that little stall it worked up to be quite the wait. But she gave us a free one so bless!!! They were worth it too; nice and crunchy/crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with the sauces to top it off, just💯💯💯 Although tbh the churros would be yuck on their own but hey, that's what sauce is...
