It's quite sad how low the standards of this eatery have fallen. Cleanliness and service are below zero!

We had to call the staff TWICE before someone came to clean the table and chair that had been used by a previous customer. Although the plates had been cleared, there were pieces of food on the table, chairs and the floors. It's was repulsive.

They ran a damp paper towel/serviette over the chairs and tables, but left huge chunks of food on the floor. We had to call them a THIRD time. Even after that, we still had to clean the chair with baby wipes ourselves; it was still so dirty, the wipes turned brown immediately! I doubt they wash their wash chairs frequently.

The couch at our table is situated right beside an air conditioner (a/c), so there's no way you won't see behind the a/c...and it was really dirty.

The customers at the next table finished their meals and left. For about 15 minutes after they left, nobody came to clear that table and clean it; flies were perching on the leftovers. It was disgusting.

It was not a busy time for them. There FIVE staff outside (3 male and 2 female) during that time; two of them (1 male and 1 female) were putting plastic spoons in transparent nylon bags, while the remaining three were sitting doing NOTHING. In fact the 2nd female went to get an empty crate, placed it beside her colleagues working on the plastic spoons, sat down in d crate and started chatting; she didn't even join them in packing the plastic spoons.

Their staff used to be so nice, attentive, polite, always smiling. Unfortunately, now they are lackadaisical and have a sour disposition as if they are being forced to work. You can say something twice and they still won't hear you. Very annoying. You ask for something and they drag their feet so slowly.

Once when I ordered via their whatsapp, the staff that was responding was so unprofessional. He/she couldn't answer simple questions and responded as though he/she was doing me a favour...for food and delivery that I paid for in full.

As for the taste of the food...meh. It's just there, nothing special about it. Nothing wow about their menu.

It's like a basic diner - sticky and dirty environment, sour staff, average food. You can get better food and service in clean eateries within the same price in this geographical location.

Only reason we went there was cos we had unfinished business really close by, and didn't want to go to another...

Why i am giving this damn place a two ratings not a one star just bcos i appreciate the damn services of the workers there. They were absolutely nice and friendly too the times i visited. But i have a damn problem about their ridiculous size portions in this restaurant. Their protein options keeps me speechless honestly. I just settle for beef most times. Their fish options looks weird with their chicken options too. They don't look appealing to me. My woman for some reason likes their sliced cakes & i believe their moi moi is fair over average, but expensive than other competitors. Their beans gave me some stomach cramping few days ago. So i never tried ordering it anymore. Their soup portions is laughable honestly just one scoop and how does a six years old kid eat that one portion talkless of an adult. I have decided to eat at Jervinik restaurant to get my money's worth for soups and swallow. Bcos blackbell are a damn rip off too. Please the damn flies in there are something else i couldn't enjoy my eating in peace without some kung fu swipes...

I would have given black bell a 5 if not for the very annoying "ofada sauce" I was served.

The person who makes that sauce should be sacked. Why call something ofada sauce when it tastes and looks nothing like ofada sauce??? That sauce messed up my whole meal, I ended up eating my ofada with plantain and asun. Thank God I ordered those to be safe, it'd have been a total disaster if I hadn't.

My friend who ate fried rice had no complaint at all with his meal and my plantain and asun were absolutely nice but I can't forget that experience with the supposed "ofada sauce".

I wouldn't mind visiting again but I surely wouldn't order anything traditional before I get disappointed again.

Lest I forget, the ambience is really great, great decor on the building outside too. However, the toilets could use some renovation. The sink wasn't draining, the toilet colour had changed from white to something leaning to light brown and the bin looked...
