Our team recently convened for a dinner meeting at Ocean Basket Restaurant, and the experience was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we arrived, the restaurant's exterior and interior captivated us with their simplicity yet charm.

The highlight of our experience was undoubtedly the impeccable customer service provided by the waitstaff. Their attentiveness and professionalism enhanced our dining experience from start to finish.

As for the food, we began with a selection of starter meals including bread with butter spread, garlic/ginger spread, and chili veggie spread, all of which earned a solid 8/10 rating from our group.

Moving on to the main course, the fried rice accompanied by a slice of lemon and salmon fish stole the show, earning a perfect 10/10 rating for its delicious flavor and quality.

For dessert, we indulged in a delightful combination of brownie and ice cream, which earned high praise with a rating of 9/10. Additionally, the chocolate milkshake surpassed our expectations, earning a perfect score of 10/10.

In addition to the exceptional dining experience, we were pleased to find that Ocean Basket Restaurant offers a well-maintained kids playground, adding to the family-friendly atmosphere.

I use to have this delicious food at ikeja but I never had an issue before... Last 2 weeks me and my bf came for our dinner and brought our own wine...we ask them on the phone if we can brought them, they said yes we can but we have to pay for the corkage then we said no problem... So as we arrive we order food, we having our dinner then we order our bill, after a while bill came... so we said we pay with POS... the guy said we can’t pay the corkage with POS, we have to pay cash...then we said we don’t have any cash with us... he said “okey, I can follow you guys to atm and widraw the money”... my boyfriend just explained to him he is not going to allow anybody entering his car anyhow, which is we want to go home... He start to say that is difficult for them to do the accounting... then I said he can do POS 2x, one for the bill and the second one for the corkage, he said no. So my boyfriend is getting mad because the guy keep arguing with us. So I said please call your manager, he said don’t worry I will meet him. After 5mnt he came back he said manager said I should collect from POS and he will pay corkage with his own money... The guy so rude, no apologies, and he love to argue... first irritated night since been having lovely meal at...

What was supposed to be an enjoyable experience didn’t turn out well for me. I first had to tell the manager to turn on the ACs because it was so hot. (1 PM on a hot afternoon and only one AC is on) Next, still had to tell the manager there wasn’t any water in the rest room. I also rejected my Pinacolada twice because it was just a mixture of cream and ice water, no ounce of coconut in it. Now comes the straw that broke the camel’s back, I ordered family platter which was clearly 35K but a different waiter came to confirm several things from my order, one of which was what size of prawns I wanted, of course I wanted big ones and he’s exact words were that would be an additional price, tell me why the bill comes and the platter is now 54K just because of a different size prawn 20K additional for just size not quantity but size. Total bill was 71k including a drink I didn’t order and of course my rejected pinacolada. It was an horrible experience and one I really regret. The price doesn’t worth the experience.
