Tomato — Restaurant in Municipality of Ohrid

In short words, avoid this terrible place. In more words, I went there twice, both times after a long and exhausting journey, with a lot of baggage. The first time, my friend and I were the only people in the place and the waiter simply decided to keep playing the game on his phone and ignore us, despite sitting literally 2 meters away from us. When it finally occurred to his mind that he was supposed to approach us, we started ordering food and he replied with "we don't have that at the moment" for some five different meals, until we asked for something they finally did have. At the end, the food was garbage and he literally forgot about 1 out of 3 things to fetch (french fries, too hard to remember). The second time the service was "better" but the chicken steak was as rare as it gets, if it could be rarer than that, they would have served me a living chicken. When I asked for it to be taken to the kitchen and baked more, they returned it after 20 seconds and it was no different than before. I don't know why this...

Very poor restaurant, I don't know how it still keeps there. There was stale produce in my salad. The cucumber was dry and orange in some places. The kebabs smelled like barbecue and were not good. The cheese fries had a small amount of cheese, as you can see in the photo. The waiter is discouraging, and he kept pushing the chair I was sitting in as he walked by. You can't pay by card... we didn't get the bill when we asked for it, the waiter told us 1000 dinars, and the order came out 940 dinars. The waiter told us to pay for the bread we didn't order 😂 The tables were very dirty, but instead of cleaning the waiter puts paper in front of the Guests 😂 I don't know whether to laugh or cry, I do not recommend this...

Restaurant Tomato completely exceeded my expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and felt right at home. The atmosphere was cozy yet vibrant, perfect for a relaxed evening out.

The food? Simply amazing. Every dish was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. You can really tell they use quality ingredients and put a lot of care into what they serve. The service was fast, friendly, and genuinely attentive — they made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal.
