I'm the regular to this lala hotpot shop!😊‼️ I like thirst service and the staff are friendly. When the waiter knew we are taking video of how they cook the hotpot, he will purposely put a little more wine so that the fire looks amazing"happening"😅. Lala is fresh. Food is fresh too. The soup is super good for me. I will suggest to take put extra wine when hotpot first boiled. And keep adding wine and fried garlic to the soup when you add on soup to hotpot. Thus can maintain the taste of soup. I will always sit outside the shop so that it's won't b too "hot" compare to sit in the shop. Imagine you are one if many hotpot in the soace where the heats in the shop is high. They have many variety of sauce that you can mix matched according to your preference. I personally like the sesame sauce (even though not the best) + their recipe of chili sauce+ raw garlic and fried garlic. You can always enjoy 10% of if you make the reservation in eatigo app. If you're spending at about rm200, they will give you a free one lala voucher. Parking here is a challenge during noon. But it's quite easy to have the parking in evening after 5pm.

It was one night that we decided to have dinner at this restaurant called Majestic Fish House but the line was impossible so we walked to one corner of a row of shophouse and found this place called Ooh Lalapot. So we had our dinner here. Were did have an enjoyable time here having a hotpot fired up by a charcoal stove while we were protected from the heat by a piece of shiny metal. They also leave a whole bottle of Shaoxing wine on your table so if you're the type who likes it really rich with that alcoholic taste in your lala soup, you can add more to the it. The restaurant manager told me the soup already came with it. After consuming the lala, the soup was ready for more dishes and amongst the ones that I have ordered, I would advice you stay off the toman fish. It came with lots of bones and it was fishy tasting. We also enjoyed the seafood vermicelli with the soup that was also seafood fresh tasting. The overall experience deserves ⭐⭐⭐⭐ at RM200 for 4 people.

Found this on Google when we searched for lala pot while travel in KL. Purposely drive from Klang Valley to Puchong , and we said it’s worth every penny. There’s lala pot option or lala al carte. Of course we chose lala claypot, pick some dishes like how we eat steamboat. Staff will cook the first lala claypot with a distance so customer won’t get the fire heat or get burn. Fresh, big and clean(does not have sand kinda thing) lala immersed in flavorful stock soup that contains Chinese wine. End up we ordered another Kg of lala, despite their hotpot dishes portion are bigger than we expected. We are so so full, but still decided to add on 羊城米粉 as we curious what it will be. Turn out, it’s the most tasty thing (after lala) for us. Super springy, absorbs the soup very well. Environment wise, spacious and well ventilated. Staffs are attentive too. There condiment & sauce area too , although not much choice but it’s complemented the whole dining experience.

If you're scrolling through reviews and spot a bad one, maybe their taste buds were on a break that day... just saying 🤣 The lala here are SUPER fresh. I think the flavors are a bit 'safe', more ginger could really enhance the lala soup to that perfecto level 👌👌👌 I guess dining al fresco in this environment has its moments, esp. when it turns into a bit of a sweat session 🥵 A lil more shade or a breeze would make the steamboat experience even better. Also, getting a waiter's attention is abit difficult, but once you've caught their attention, it's all gucci 👌 They're on the higher end with regards to price. But if you're shelling out for quality, especially for something as delightful as the lalapot, it's totally worth the splurge. TL;DR: This place is a 4/5. Fresh seafood with spiciness that hits the spot, and while your wallet might feel a bit lighter, the experience is heavy on quality. Lala lovers gotta try this at least once 🤞🤙

Came at 10pm just for lalapot soup and light veggie. Not packed for a Saturday 10pm, most would have done for dinner and left, hence fewer patrons and just nice to dig in. So after an hour enjoying the la la soup, would I come back? Definitely!! Food - hou sik mou? It’s nice and tasty, have a choice to make it spicy but we opted for the la la sweetness and put more some rice wine and fried garlic in for the sweet aroma. Perfect. Service - within expectation. Have a mix of Chinese and Malay staffs and mostly attentive. Atmosphere - a bit stuffy if a certain part of the restaurant so try find a more airy part, ask the staff. The place is clean and tidy. Perhaps it’s already 10pm when we came, I find it nice and comfy to eat and chat. It closes at 1am so perfect for a night light snack and parking aplenty. So yes, will come back again!

Visited 18/05/2024 Breezy Saturday evening. The following sharing are based on our unbiased personal opinion and experience This is the first time trying lalapot beside the usual I had before in Kepong and Johor. If you have not tried lalapot before you must give it a try. It's the current hype after the famous HDL hotpot 😂 We start by ordering the sides we like to go with the hotpot. And next thing you will see is the staff throwing fire 🔥 right Infront of your face. Throw all the ingredients in and ready to dig in.
