Bundu Khan Restaurant - Royal — Restaurant in Lahore City Tehsil

We visited twice on consecutive days as two birthday parties had been booked here. Although we warned the second party host about the mediocre to poor food and rubbish service we had sampled the day before, the host did not feel compelled to change venue at late stage and was convinced it may be a one off experience. Also it was assumed that the prices per head would be much less than adjacent Poet. Wrong. The 2nd time was also repeat of first. Restaurant was at 15% occupancy when we arrived at 8:00 pm. We were a party of about twenty adults and two young ones. The Mutton Chops (Chanp) was over cooked, dark and tough to eat. The White handi was ok, Nan and roti was lack lustre. Brain Masala was so poor, under cooked and bland that it went untouched by all. The waiters and the head waiters had a great huff and puff on drinks. We ordered fresh lime with diet sprite or seven up. First of all they brought drinks when everybody had finished their struggle with the poor food. Even then they were not able to serve diet drinks and non diet drinks as they were unable to determine which is which ( Diet Sprite now is very close in can design to the sugared version. ) Half the party left the drinks untouched too. A Bay Sura ( Without sur) singer was attempting to be bearable but listened to every ones request to pipe it down. .Two stars are for the expense the poor owner had to put in trying to make an upper end restaurant. The final bill gave the host a nose bleed as we all slapped our forehead and said " we could have......" I am not going there again. Suggest you check prices...

Tried the newly opened and extravagant Bundu Khan Royal for the first time. Location. Greater Iqbal Park , Near Menaar E Pakistan and Walled City. . Beautifully designed and decorated and has a very big sitting capacity. Service was quite efficient and staff was very courteous. . Accompanied with my lovely 🥰 family ordered the following items for the special and regular menu. ; . . MuGhlai Mutton Nali. . Mutton Chilman BRIYANI . Bombay Chicken Handi . Chicken Special kebabs with Cashew Nuts . Beef kebabs. . Warki Tandoori Parathas . Achari and Garlic Naans . Salad 🥗 and chutney. . Allahumdulilah the food overall was simply amazing and tasted extremely delicious 😋. We totally loved 🥰 each and every item especially the Mughlai mutton Nali and chicken special kebabs. Mutton Chilman BRIYANI was equally good though I would have preferred more spice and masala in it. It was more like medium spicy and would have loved it more if it was spicy. . Rest beef kebabs and Bombay chicken are our standard dishes we order every time we visit Bundu khan (other branches). Definitely worth a visit and totally...

A definite Royal experience in the heart of Iqbal Park

Very rare a high-end Pakistani restaurant ticks all the boxes for its premium pricing and the hype. But this one ticks everything and does it excellently!

Lovely ambience all around, be it indoors or outdoors. The outdoors comes with live classical music and ample of space. The service is top class with the servers and the incharge/manager making sure you're dealt timely and are ever present for any requirement and also take feedback about the service.

As for the food, the pricing justifies it. Hyderabadi Tawwa Qeema and Palak Paneer are full of taste. Their roti is worth trying (got herbs mixed in it). Will be trying more items next time and I'm pretty sure, there will be several more visits!
