Bastion Café Lahore Forte: Perfectly located in a Royal ambiance. This is not a regularly running restaurant, you need to book it before hand for parties/dinners etc. Many of the tour groups take their tourists at the place with prior booking. The cafe is located in Lahore Forte. You need to park your vehicle at gate No 1 parking area. Gate No 1 is the first gate as you approach from Railway Station to the forte, in front of Minar e Pakistan. From here you can either walk to the restaurant or you can ride an EV transporting passengers from parking area to the restaurant. As you reach the restaurant, there are nice toilets before the restaurant. When you enter this open-air restaurant, you are taken aback by the well illuminated night views of Lahore forte, Minar e Pakistan and the nearby Sikh Gurdwara. Restaurant is quite spacious, good seating arrangement, buffet dinner, good service and live instrumental performance. Food itself is quite expansive and unfortunately not very tasty. Restaurant should exert really hard to have good cooks for preparing food. At the moment they are only cashing on their good ambiance. They can also give some Royal touch to the attire of the serving staff to match with...
Read moreFitst of all, the place is almost impossible to find unless you have somebody guiding you alongside. It you dont have a vehicular clearance beforehand, forget about it.
After that you arrive to this (fsr) terrace open air seating arrangement which is ONLY approachable by this 30 ft long ramp. If you have arthritis, GOOD LUCK.
Once you reach, what feels like a mountaintop of a climb, establishment what greets you is your usual shadi hall decor and an excuse of a platform with cushions that they call a stage.
If you are performing a setpiece there, GOOD luck since the management of the place has every problem and issue to create with anything you have preplanned. The electricity outlets are faulty and can and or will damage whatever you are planning to run on their power.
The food should be the saving grace here but it is literally mediocre at best. You can get the same taste at a good roadside outlets, people who cook out of stoved and sell streetfood. The soup is just a bland watery beef broth with thrown in stale vegetables. The sweets again, very mediocre and...

This is Maisam Abbas from Discover Pakistan TV (First tourism TV channel of Pakistan) As we are famous for promoting the positive and historic image of Pakistan, me and my team faced a humiliating and terrible experience from your side at Design Summit Lahore over dinner last night. Discover Pakistan is the exclusive media partner of that event, but our team was asked to clear the table for the other guests and leave the cafe premises. The media teams of other channels were also badly insulted. We left the premises in disgrace, later I shared my concerns with the event's management and they apologised. But this was totally unbearable and ridiculous from your side, we also have a MOU signed with the Walled City Authority and Lahore Fort, so we would share our concerns there as well. Will definitely not endorse your cafe in the future. Just wanted to express my feelings. Please don't become a sign of...
