Best Sushi of My Life! When we went to Chikara, it was because of a recommendation of a girl I met in a cafe. The place looked great online but I didn’t expect to have such an outstanding experience! It was definitely the best Sushi in my whole life and Inti and Derlis were just the loveliest hosts on top! We went there as a bigger group of 8 people and it was wonderful to share all the different Makis and Sashimis, Sake and Tea. Being a chef I especially enjoyed the open kitchen concept where i could watch Derlis prepare all the delicacies. What I really noticed that at every part of the culinary experience they work with the highest quality ingredients. Especially in contrast to other good Sushi Restaurants, you could tell they always go one step further always choosing the better sushi rice, the more expensive and artisanal soy sauce, the better Nori Leaf, and even the Sake was also the best Sake I ever had. I recommend this place to every person I meet on my journey that is going to Cusco because I can really recommend this place by heart! Thanks so much Inti and Derlis for your kind...

Cusco offers some delicious nikkei and sushi, but Chikara is hands-down the best in town. Chikara is one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The sushi was incredible (it might be the best I’ve ever had) and the staff were friendly and attentive. We went for lunch and had the place to ourselves (be warned, they have very limited seating in their charming restaurant). The staff were absolutely remarkable—the whole meal felt like a friend (who happened to be a grade-A sushi chef) was making a meal for us. We ordered the tuna tartar as a starter; the flavors and textures were incredible. We shared four maki between two people. The óstion and Chikara rolls were wildly delicious! They expertly combine Peruvian flavors with sushi techniques. The mango roll and acevichado rolls were also scrumptious. Don’t skip a remarkable...

This hidden place in Old town of Cusco is the best Sushi one can ever eat in entire Peru. It's a Must Visit. The food is absolutely flavourful, delicious and satisfying. The Japanese with Peruvian fusion at its best & the place is soo cozy and warm... that makes you come back. Our daughter and us loved the food and we went all 4 nights of our stay in cusco to Chikara sushi for dinner as the food is irresistible.. also she became best friends with the owner Inti and her pet Maki. INTI & Her partner, the owners of this place and thier dog Maki are always ready to welcome people into thier restaurant with a lot of love. She is amazingly kind and humble. She goes beyond to make sure everything is perfect from drinks to the freshly cooked food served on...

I stayed in Cusco for 2 weeks and this was by far the best restaurant we went to (5 times and everyone loved it.) We didn’t expect to have good sushi in Peru, but this is honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had in the world. The food is great and the couple who runs it are friendly, speedy, and have created a wonderful environment. Get the flambe sashimi and definitely don’t skip the tomato nigiri. The lotus flower green tea is a great pairing and the cups it comes in are adorable. Great sakĆ©, cocktails, and again, the sushi is world class. Highly recommend and if I'm ever in Cusco again, it is the first place I’ll go. Thank you Inti!!
