An awful experience! And I'm a traveler, I live 300 days a year in hotels, hostal, b&b and so on... |I asked for a quiet room, with a good wifi (even if I know in Iquitos it cannot be super strong), and a window. |They guaranteed me they can provide everything for 5 soles more then my budget and I accepted. They also send me a pic of the room looking decent. |When I arrived the room wasn't the same: it was definitely worst, with dirty walls, a very small opening in the wall overlooking a super small internal service courtyard, used for sheets washing. |I could hear people in other rooms talking as if they were in mine, and their music, their tv... |I decided to try to work anyway, but, surprise! No WiFi at all, reaching my room. |I told it to the receptionist and he offer to me too move in another room. I did it: this second room was dirty as the first one. Shower curtain removed and missing, as the toilet seat, plastic bags, and other object under the bed (what about the cleaning???), no window at all but a small glass on the internal hall, and a very uncomfortable broken mattress. |I decided to stay for the WiFi, and I was really tired at this point. |But as soon as I closed the door, I realize how strong the mold smell was: it happened to me in some places, some times, but never so invasive! |It was really terrible. Moreover I couldn't sleep before 1 am because of people speaking. It is super noisy. |I woke up at 7 am with a bad feeling in my throat for this smell, I toke my backpack and I literally runned away. |I really recommended you to don't stay...

Read moreWe got a very good deal on this place through a local taxi guy. So bear that in mind - but for the price we got a good 2 star hotel experience, with a very nice AC, decent shower, shower curtains (they should be changed), 98% clean sheets, very basic breakfast (just coffee/tea+ bread, butter and jam), nice front desk help and a quiet room. So, if you see a good price for this place, take it! It's the nicest one we found under 80...
