Nice location, great view of the palace, mountain, and cathedral. Good service. Everything else was significantly below average. The cancha were greasy and not very well seasoned. I ordered the alpaca medallions, but they gave me the stir fry instead. I liked the flavor of the alpaca, I'd never had it before but it reminded me of venison. However, it was over salted and very overcooked, quite chewy. The accompanying corn and potatoes were completely unflavored and bland, and the oily mushroom sauce was too watery and tasted like the mushrooms were canned. They didn't give us enough aji for the table, and it's the first place I've been to in Peru that gave us ketchup and mustard packets. I would have preferred more aji or salsa criolla instead.
Overall, even if you really want a view, I wouldn't recommend it. Most of the tables aren't on the edge where you get the full view anyway. The best I can say is that it's reasonably priced for...

The staff seemed mostly distracted, more focused on watching TV than attending to customers, and the food took about 30 minutes to arrive. Unfortunately, it was barely mid-tier. Yes, I understand that places like this often charge for the view—but in this case, that view is only accessible from a couple of tables.
The spices came in cheap, pre-packed sachets. The classic Peruvian purple corn drink was watered down, and when we asked for a grilled chicken breast, we were served some kind of deep-fried alternative, absolutely drenched in oil.
In conclusion: come for the view if you must, but don’t count on the food or...
Read moreI like the spot, but was just that, an spot! The restaurant is small and they just have 2 higher tables on the balcony. This is a small terrace with small tables, no more than 8. Before that space, on the entrance you can find some other tables, but is a close space next to the kitchen. The food was good, but not something I would like to pay for. The environment, the music and the personnel, was the plus, to stay there. And of course the star was the balcony with that fabulous frame for the pictures. I'll go back only if I bring some...
