Beggang — Restaurant in Baguio

We went for a late lunch, like 3pm. The "good for five people" actually is good for like six, they have reasonably big servings. We had the set meal with chicken inasal, kare-kare, lechon kawali, and ginataang eggplant-giniling. We loved the kare-kare, which is certainly not used with kare-kare powder. It tasted with real peanut sauce, atsuete for color, the works. The beef was really tender. In my opinion, the gata in the ginataan was too much that the coconut oil was too much.

The staff were very polite, service was excellent. They keep replacing the water bottles (free) when they see our bottle going out. They're alert for the customers' needs.

So I came in thinking it's a jacked-up carinderia. My bad. The food is top notch. If anything, I would like to pseudo-complain that they didn't say the serving was for sharing. My complaint was that I wasn't ready. It was too good I forced myself to finish it off. And wahat was that salad? It was so good it was literally a meal in itself.

Glorified carinderia? I Beggang to differ. I'll see...

We're tired and decided to eat on this place since we saw that the food looks good but upon entering the resto, the service crews on the store is disrespectful. They're being quite homophobic by laughing and calling such slurs on our back, so we decided not to eat here.
