Local Baguio boy foodie rating: 9/10
Reasons: Food and drinks, I actually never tried their food but Figaro is my go-to place for my weekly caffeine sessions. Their Frappe is amazing, their Hot Chocolate is amazing, their Coffee drinks are amazing, every drink is a different story. Worth a trip. Price, way better than Starbucks when it comes to the Price-quality ratio or something like that. Still pricey but so worth it. Customer service is great, they really show how they care about the comfort of their customers. At noon, its almost unbearable to sit on their Al Fresco area because of that they recently put up a tent on that said area (even it doesnt work well, sunrays-wise, its the thought that counts). They always remind me and my cousins that it sucks sitting outside, which is sweet. Location is perfect, with the new outdoorsy green look of the top floor of SM, the place got better. Sunrays be scary on the aftie tho.
Note: I rated it 9/10 not because of the sun-hit-me-head-hot, but because I never tried their food. It will soon be an experience I will...
Read moreA rare bad review for me. I was extremely disappointed when I stopped by Figaro Coffe in SM Baguio. I had the Strawberry Sansrival. The cake had sit in the store display for a long time. This caused the outside to become very crunchy compared to the inside, because it sat in the display for so long it had a stale freezer burn taste. Even the strawberry on top was dried out it had been just been in the display too long. When I addressed these issues to the staff I showed them what I meant by tapping the cake on the side with my fork so they could hear how it made a ting sound compared to the inside which was fresh and made no sound. The staff was uncompromising and I wasted good money on a terrible experience. I am glad to say Baguio is beautiful and the people are fantastic. Just stay clear of Figaro...
Read moreThe place has a nice sunlit space. It has an indoor and outdoor setting so you can choose to dine inside it still has ventilation, or outdoor for an al fresco experience tho if it’s sunny it might be too hot to be outside tho some tables have umbrellas to cover you from the sun’s rays. We went there for drinks so we weren’t able to taste the pastries and food. The drinks were average and okay for the price. It could improve the taste to have a distinct taste that’s for figaro. The iced salted caramel caramel was okay but would still prefer the drink from Starbucks. The experience would be better if they used glass instead of paper cups. Overall would recommend the place if you just want to have a place to chill but if you want to try a distinct taste I wouldn’t...
