We recently visited the Mang Inasal branch in Colon, and while I generally enjoy the food, this visit left a lot to be desired in terms of service and comfort.
Upon entering, the cashier was not very accommodating, which set a bit of a negative tone. We asked if they accepted GCash as a payment option, but were told they only accept cash a bit surprising since other fast-food chains, especially their sister company Jollibee, now accept multiple digital payment methods.
While waiting for our food, our buzzer went off indicating it was ready. I went downstairs to claim it and noticed there were at least two or three staff members nearby, yet none offered assistance in bringing the food upstairs. The store wasn’t busy at the time, so I had hoped for a bit more attentiveness.
During our meal, the dining area was uncomfortably warm. The air-conditioning upstairs was not working well, while the staff on break were gathered near a separate, much cooler aircon unit seemingly focused more on their comfort than that of the customers. I also observed another table trying to ask for a rice refill, but no staff was readily available to assist them the rice bucket was just left unattended.
After we finished our meal, I went to wash up and found there was no soap in the sink, and the comfort room was out of order. When we left, we weren’t even given a simple “thank you” by the staff at the counter.
This review is not meant to shame or criticize harshly, but simply to point out areas that could be improved. I hope the management takes this as constructive feedback to ensure better service for...
Read moreWe recently visited Mang Inasal for lunch and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. While one half of our group was served almost immediately, half of the group that ordered a 2-piece barbecue stick meal had to wait an exceptionally long time to receive the order that they had paid for. Despite following up with the wait staff three times, the wait stretched to 40 minutes, which is unacceptable as it does NOT take more than 30 minutes to cook 4 pieces of barbecue sticks.
Furthermore, the ambiance during our visit was quite disruptive due to people asking for money inside the restaurant. This made us feel uncomfortable during our meal. We also found it difficult to get the wait staff's attention for additional service throughout our lunch.
Due to the long wait time, inattentive service, and our overall experience, I would not recommend visiting this establishment if you want to have an...
Read moreI think it's my 3rd or 4th visit here. I ordered 2 Pecho Large Chicken with drinks for only P179 each, not Unlimited rice meal. It's been awhile that I haven't eaten at Mang Inasal. The taste is still the same, but it is much better now for me.
Supposedly I want to try their new Solo Fiesta All-in-One Sarap Meal, but I was told by the cashier that the chicken oil, and barbeque is unavailable at that time. I asked if they could substitute the barbeque, but she told me that they couldn't.
Soft drinks were also unavailable. Only Iced tea.
The place is air-conditioned, but needs more high cool temperature. Not so crowded that...
