Botejyu in Greenbelt, Makati, offers an authentic taste of Japanese cuisine with a particular focus on Osaka-style dishes. My visit to this restaurant left me with a positive impression, though there are a few areas that could benefit from improvement.

Upon entering Botejyu, you are greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that captures the essence of a traditional Japanese eatery. The interior design is simple yet elegant, with wooden furnishings and subtle decor elements that create a comfortable and cozy dining environment. The ambiance is perfect for a casual meal with friends, a family dinner, or even a solo culinary adventure.

The menu at Botejyu is extensive, offering a wide variety of Japanese dishes that cater to different tastes. Specializing in Osaka cuisine, the restaurant features favorites such as okonomiyaki, takoyaki, and yakisoba. These dishes are prepared with care and attention to detail, ensuring that the flavors are authentic and satisfying. The okonomiyaki, in particular, stood out with its rich, savory taste and perfectly cooked texture.

In addition to the Osaka specialties, Botejyu also offers a range of other Japanese dishes, including sushi, sashimi, and tempura. The sushi and sashimi are fresh and well-prepared, though not exceptional. The tempura is light and crispy, providing a delightful contrast to the other richer dishes on the menu.

One of the highlights of Botejyu is its commitment to authenticity. The restaurant uses high-quality ingredients and traditional cooking methods to deliver a genuine Japanese dining experience. This dedication to authenticity is evident in the flavors and presentation of the dishes, which are both visually appealing and delicious.

Service at Botejyu is generally good, with attentive and polite staff who are knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations. However, during peak hours, the service can become a bit slow, and there may be longer wait times for food. Despite this, the staff remains courteous and does their best to ensure a pleasant dining experience.

In terms of pricing, Botejyu is on the higher end, reflecting the quality of the ingredients and the authenticity of the dishes. While it may not be the most budget-friendly option, the overall dining experience justifies the cost for those who appreciate genuine Japanese cuisine.

In summary, Botejyu in Greenbelt, Makati, is a solid choice for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Osaka-style Japanese cuisine. The restaurant offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere, an extensive menu of well-prepared dishes, and generally good service. While there are some areas for improvement, particularly in terms of service speed during busy times, Botejyu delivers a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience that is well...

Indulging in the culinary offerings of this restaurant is an experience that leaves a lasting impression. The octopus yakitori stands out as a true gem on the menu. Grilled to perfection, each bite offers a tantalizing combination of succulence and charred aroma, a delightful dance of flavors that's simply irresistible.

Equally impressive is their ramen, a dish that transcends the ordinary. The velvety broth, infused with layers of umami, embraces the perfectly cooked noodles, creating a harmonious blend that's both comforting and exhilarating. Every spoonful is a journey through taste and texture, revealing the artistry that goes into crafting such a dish.

For those seeking culinary delight, these two offerings are not to be missed. The octopus yakitori and the exceptional ramen are a testament to the dedication this restaurant puts into curating an exceptional menu. The convergence of flavors and presentation is a testament to their commitment to culinary excellence.

In conclusion, if you're a connoisseur of fine flavors, the octopus yakitori and ramen are undoubtedly worth a try. They showcase the pinnacle of taste, skill, and innovation that define this restaurant's...

We had a family dinner at Botejyu and got the following:

Boteyju special salad - We recommend this. Very refreshing and different texture. Chicken teriyaki salad - this is ok

We got their specialties but not impressed. 3. Okosoba - is a mixture of okonomiyaki and yakisoba. Their premium signature taste is very strong. Omusoba - is a mixture of omurice and yakisob. Taste just like okosoba, even texture is just like it. Okonomiyaki - same sauce with the previous dish. Tastes ok.

Ebi tempura - i recommend this also, very crispy and not too oily. Grilled BBQ pork hokkaido - tastes okay but thick cuts.

For sushi, i recommend the Seattle roll. The flavors make it a perfect combination. I also dont recommend the Sukiyaki beef roll, too heavy with rice, nothing special.

Overall, not impressed with their signature dishes. I suggest you order just 1 since the flavors tend to be similar... but I was happy with the special salad and seattle roll. Place is also ok, and servers...
