Frankly, there is nothing special about this place and you can easily find better quality middle eastern food in other restaurants at lower cost.
The food itself isn't anything inspiring. Their meats are overly oily, the rice dry, and the veggies far from fresh. Not exactly inedible, but not a memorable meal either. You're much better off ordering from a different restaurant.
The service is devastatingly poor. The restaurant seems severely understaffed with only 3-5 front staff handling both Mazza and Galo. The staff they do have remaining are incredibly rude and inefficient. You may catch them at times hiding behind the counter even if customers try to waive them down. It took us several minutes just to get a menu, with a staff member slamming it on our table. On serving our food, they weren't even sure if they were handing over the right dishes.
Atmosphere is very poor and the place tends to get too packed at busy hours. The layout of the tables and chairs do not give ample room for good movement within...
Read moreAmbience They share dine-in space with the restaurant on the left. A divider is apparent yet there's still space to go to the other restaurant. Seat space was okay but also appears to be limited for peak hours. For two visits, fruit flies were a problem for me although they had good ventilation.
Food Grilled Pita with Hummus was overwhelmingly filling and good! I'm extremely happy with the serving size especially for the pita; sometimes it looked like 2 or 3 pita! I literally took out a few pieces because I ran out of Hummus.
Mixed Plate Kebab Meal had a nice grilled smell and taste. Texture was perfectly tender. Sometimes the beef tasted more like a burger than a kebab. A big slice of butter was served on top of the rice. Dish was more enjoyable with the cold garlic sauce!
Service It was good for the most part. One of the female staffers needs to smile more but who knows, maybe it's not her day...
Read moreI had lunch here during work and have also eaten here a few times before. The food is consistently decent and offers a nice change from the usual fast-food options. The menu has a variety of dishes that feel a bit more thoughtful than what you’d typically get from chain fast food, so it’s a good place to go if you’re looking for something different but still casual.
Price-wise, it’s not as cheap as fast food, but it’s also not overly expensive—just right for what you’re getting. The serving portions are fair, and the flavors are balanced enough to make the meal enjoyable without feeling too heavy. I also appreciate that it feels like a place where you can take a short break from the usual routine and refresh your palate once in a while.
Overall, it’s a good spot if you’re nearby and want something reasonably priced, a bit more special than fast food, and reliable in...
