Had an outstanding dining experience. Felt the care and thoughtfulness that went into each dish. Waitress Ms. Marjorie is very polite and knowledgeable and it made a huge difference compared to others I've been to.
No ultraprocessed ingredients, just clean, fresh, real food. The prices are justified with the premium plant-based ingredients used. No MSG.
No refined sugar, they use overripe banana (except for coco sugar in lemonade).
Very Berry Smoothie, php 390 - not overly sweet; no artificial taste and you can distinguish the healthy fruits. With cute little umbrella!
Le Mocha Frappe, php 315 - mild coffee and chocolate, nothing too sweet or overpowering on the palate.
The food comes in generous portions but there are smaller serving sizes available for fruit bowl and pizza. The plating is such a winner.
Primavera Pizza, half at php 260- softly crisp crust, very fresh tasting veggies, zucchini, bell peppers, black olives etc and mild vegannaise drizzle.
Seaweed Ramen, php 450 - noodles come from Romblon, with seamoss. Choose from clear original broth or creamy with coconut milk. Opted for the latter. Unexpectedly left me amazed- flavorfully sweet, creamy, spicy, and overloaded with toppings. Highly recommended.
Appetizer Scallops, php 280 - succulent king oysters. Downed a piece in one bite with the pesto bedding, and salsa and micro basil topping. Packs a punch!
All Day Breakfast Tapa, php 470 - their version captured the flavorful taste of the beef comfort food but it is not faux meat used, but seasoned local mushroom. The "scrambled egg" is tofu.
Mango Goji Berry, half bowl at php 230 - a cool, sweet ending. Refreshing dessert of the wholesome meal that left me in a blissful state of satiety. Love it!
Complimentary nuts while you wait - raisins peanuts almonds. Service water alkalized with lemon.
Nice restroom, spacious, with grass and pebbles accent. Tidy, fragrant, with soap, tissue, bidet and PWD hand rail support at the side.
PWD friendly, with ramp at entrance.

We waited for almost 30 minutes for our food only to taste the saltiest dish ever. I normally let it pass when my food is a little salty but that vegan adobo was too salty to be edible. I asked the waitress to replace it and we had to wait for more than 20 minutes. It was just too much. It's probably the worst food experience I've had in the last few years.
For full transparency, it is Maundy Thursday today so they may be understaffed but that shouldn't be an excuse for bad food. Seriously, the food is not even mediocre, it's just bad and inedible.
I hope this is just an isolated incident but for now, this place is NOT my choice for vegan food in Makati and I'm NOT recommending this to my friends.
EDIT: Adding additional comments after receiving feedback from the owner.
First of all, "the saltiness level is average" is not true. I'm not picky and in fact, I can tolerate food even when it's a little bit salty. But again, it wasn't average. It was inedible. I'm not sure if my experience is well translated through words but I really tried to just eat the food several times before sending it back.
Second, "during busy hours, it may take 20-30 minutes" this is true and I'm aware of this. I get this. However, "our staff informed you upon your order" nope. This did not happen. And even after I returned the food, I was not informed of how long it would take so no.
Third, "as admission that we failed to meet your expected dining experience, we gave you 10% discount on all the food you ordered." NO. We got it due to the promo which the cashier forgot to include when we got the first bill. We actually reminded the waitress about that.
To me the reply just feels like trying to invalidate my negative experience rather than owning the mistake. Again, it wasn't just a little salty to my liking but actually an inedible level of saltiness. Second, waiting for more than 20 minutes for a redo on top of the initial 30 minutes wait is just too much. I hope this helps you improve...
Read moreServing Western food with a dash of Asian favorites, iVegan Restaurant offers free wifi and free charging of gadgets (for diners only). My favorite is chickpea and lentil moussaka. It can fill your stomach the way you feel the same when you eat meat. Special mention to their smoothies served with edible straws - fresh, no preservatives, and all natural. Banana oats and beets are the ones I tried - I love ‘em!
For parking, Greenbelt has lots of paid parking options. From there, you can walk for 10 minutes or so to reach this restaurant.
TIP: Fruits and veggies are delivered to them every Thursday and Saturday. If you happen to dine during these days, you can ask the waiters/waitresses if they have off-menu dishes based from what kinds of veggies and fruits they have in stock.
Btw, no outdoor seating. For those who carry pets to dine, I was assured they allow pets inside.
The menu is not too overwhelming however it is best if they have photos of how dishes look like. It helps a lot to choose faster - I swear. I love though that they have this mark what dish is gluten free and refined sugar free.
Overall, I highly recommend iVegan Restaurant Makati not only for those who are already vegans or vegetarians. Despite its location, prices are affordable. If you want to have a taste of what is a plant-based diet is all about,...
