UPDATE: Tried this place again, and this time we had excellent service by our waitress "Rubie", who actually made sure we got our food fast, checked on us every few minutes and also made sure we got extra bread and the six extra pieces we ordered to take away. What a difference a great server makes!... PREVIOUS REVIEW: The restaurants outlets in Texas are great, this one doesn't have the same atmosphere, but it's not too bad. The menu has been altered for the Philippines, but you can still get great steaks and their fresh bread. Unfortunately, they don't make enough bread and even when you order it as an extra, they forget to make it. We asked the waitress to get us extra bread, she forgot. We reminded her and she said she'd check, and then avoided us for about thirty minutes until I got up and chased her down near the kitchen. She said there's no extra bread, so I ordered a dozen pieces to take away, and went back to our table. We waited another thirty minutes and someone else came by and dropped our bill off. I read it and noticed the order for bread wasn't there, so went back to the kitchen and looked for the same waitress. Couldn't find her so asked another waitress about our bread order. She went back to what I assumed was a supervisor and she came out and said it would take another thirty to forty minutes to make bread. I asked why the waitress didn't tell us this back about thirty minutes ago and she just shrugged, so we paid for our meal and left, very disappointed. I always eat at the Texas Roadhouse in South Austin Texas, and know the management there, one of whom actually came to the Philippines to train these people, but it seems they didn't actually learn much because that's just terrible customer service all round. Hiding from your customers and leaving them to rot at their tables while they wait for food that's never coming isn't what I've ever experienced at a Texas Roadhouse before and doesn't bode well for continued success of the...
Read moreI have visited the place at least five times, and I'm a bit impressed with the consistency in the quality of their food and service.
Regardless if the shift is busy or relaxed, the waiters/waitresses are always to quick to address your needs (get your order, ask for drink refills, answer food-related questions, among others).
Especially with my recent dine in experience, I am impressed with how Ms. Marga, the waitress who served me tonight, did her service. She ensured that I understood the restaurant's menu. She made sure that my order was complete and correct. She was thoughtful enough to discuss some background about the restaurant. Finally, she was always quick to bring me my refills, condiments, and table napkins even before I asked for it. It was, indeed, a great service. May she keep up the good work, and may her enthusiastic work inspire her teammates.
As for the food, the high quality of their dishes give justice to the price. It didn't disappoint. They do serve good Chicken Strips (Steaks and Pork Chops too!!). Don't forget about the sides. They do matter. The sides are delicious but does not overpower the taste of the meats (loaded mashed potatoes!!).
The ambience was fine. Good airconditioned place, big TVs that show sports programs, Texas Cowboy theme with a little bit of Native American designs is noticable in the resto (oh, checkout the steaks display at the front of the restaurant too, looks cool).
All in all, I would recommend this shops who want to have good food and dining experience (also, for those who likes pork chops, chicken strips, and steaks too). Most especially, I recommend these to those who wants to have a good steak or pork chops on a relatively lower price. It...

My boyfriend and I ate at Texas Roadhouse’s branch in Greenbelt 5 on a Friday night. The setting matters because despite the influx of diners, our designated server and manager were very attentive to our needs even without us requesting. We can also attest to how professional all the staff are with their cheery and welcoming disposition.
The food is of high quality, without a doubt. We ordered the set meal with ribs, buffalo wings, and two (2) regular sides and added a salad and calamari fries. What you see is what you get with their ‘fall-off-the-bones’ ribs that is very rich in flavor and tender in texture.
You know the restaurant truly knows their stuff when they have menu items that complement well with one another. Having the salad and calamari fries as appetizers was a highlight. Of course, no one forgets Texas Roadhouse’s peanuts—ever. It’s definitely unique and a good conversation starter for any type of diner. (Ours extended at home because of the complimentary take-away packs.)
If we were to choose one word to describe dining at Texas Roadhouse, it would be memorable. It’s neither an overgeneralization nor an understatement. We’ve seen small and big groups of friends, families, couples, and even solo individuals come and go. Whether it’s to celebrate, wind down, or drink up to good and bad circumstances, Texas Roadhouse creates an atmosphere of comfort almost akin to a home.
It’s the little things that cause a big impact at the end of the...
