this was quite the cultural immersion! we got the beef tteokbbokki: a korean street food favorite. it was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy;l: the two favorite for this simpleton! i had THREE full servings of it; i just couldn’t stop eating this amazing dish! we also got their ditto nabe: a dish that brought me back to the simple times of my childhood. the noodles reminded me of a tsinoy binondo favorite: masuki!!! the dumplings were so soft and chunky. the broth is a good, clean, slightly sour taste. they even gave us free fresh fruit and nachos, which paired really well with our bottle of house red wine and soju! great meal in a great place! 5/5 will recommend!

I had the beef gomtang and it was good. Serving size is really generous and came with rice, side dishes, a fried egg, and a side soup (which took me by surprise because gomtang is already a soup dish). The ban chan/side dish is a big point for improvement, as it tasted more filipino than korean, most especially the kimchi, which can improve with less sweetness and more kick. The staff was nice and accommodating but could be better if they were educated on elements of korean food so if the customers ask questions about a dish they would be able to answer and explain. Interior is well designed and spacious. It feels like a good place to hang out.

THIS PLACE IS A LITERAL HIDDEN GEM. This place has the most delicious Korean food you'll try on the island, full stop. I'm not a fan of spicy food, yet I enjoyed every slurp of their jjamppong tang. The fried chicken was superbly crispy. Their sweet and sour pork was the best I've ever tasted (anywhere). The seafood pasta with cream cheese is a culinary fusion masterpiece, where a bite leads you to another one. The fried prawn is very tasty with the crispiest batter. The kimchi fried rice is exceptionally well made. You can clearly see that this food was prepared with heart. I can't wait to come back for more.
