We visited this spot for vegan pancakes, French toast, and a coffee. The experience quickly soured when we discovered an additional ₱80 charge for coconut milk — not just for the coffee, but also for the pancakes, totaling an extra ₱160. This is by far the highest coconut milk surcharge we’ve encountered in the Philippines, and it already had us regretting our choice.
When the flat white arrived, it was served in their smallest cup and was less than half full. There was no foam, and clumps of milk floated on the surface — easily the bleakest coffee I’ve ever seen. We raised this with the staff, only to be told, “You can’t foam coconut milk for a flat white.” If that’s the case, why charge an extra ₱80 for a coconut flat white?
At this point, we decided to cancel our order and go elsewhere. The staff called the owner, who flat-out refused to give us a refund, despite the fact that we hadn’t eaten or drunk anything. After over an hour, we were forced to pay for the sad flat white (which we didn’t drink) and the pancakes (which we took to-go just to escape). We were refunded for the rest of the order.
As a final blow, the pancakes turned out to be dry, tasteless, and missing the syrup altogether. Given the abundance of better, cheaper dining options in Boracay, do yourself a favour — swipe left...

And hold on is that Jollibee? No, it's a lovingly drawn painting of a banana that hopefully no one gets offended by. Don't let the British guy at the door scare you, he's friendly and doesn't bite or so says the staff. Also, they claim that they serve the best coffee in Boracay and so far, I'm in agreement.
So head on over and bring a friend. The password at the door is...
Read moreI currently live where the Basque Burnt Cheesecake originated from so when we saw this banana-themed cafe with Banana flavored Basque Burnt Cheesecake, we just had to try it. It was well-baked and you can definitely taste the banana but the cheesecake taste still stands out which is good. It’s a bit far from the original tastes like but I’m sure all banana lovers would appreciate this. I kinda wish I tried the other dishes as well, they had much more to choose from.
The coffee was really good though, pricey but good.
The staff was really accommodating and friendly so we definitely...
