Read moreFirst time eating in this restaurant, and have already tasted what the rave was all about. The chicken is very flavorful, available with varying degrees of spiciness (safe/spicy/chemical), served with tried and tested side dishes (kimchi/corn on the cob/waffles). The appetizers were inspired by different cuisines ranging from American (Mac and Cheese/Hush Puppies), Japanese, and Korean, all of which are satisfying enough on its own, and delicious. One thing that's very admirable is the fact that they sell legit Filipino craft beers rather than your usual San Miguel, which can be a welcome change from the usual fare, and that they proudly endorse locally brewed beers that support these small scale businesses that try and make a mark on the market.
Servers are attentive and will gladly explain the menu for the first time customer. The look of the place is modern, a bit on the dark side (color scheme is black and red) but classy. The Megamall branch is a bit small though compared to the Robinsons Manila branch.
Verdict: Highly recommended (especially for those who crave for chicken a...
Read moreWe ordered the new item on their menu, Hanger Steak with Butter Miso and it was surprisingly disappointing. The meat had uneven doneness, some of the slices were cooked medium well (which I requested) and yung iba well done naman. The butter miso was salty with no hint of miso at all. The food wasn’t hot din, the butter did not even bother to melt. Good point is that the meat is still tender. 5/10 for me.
Their chicken was decent, not spectacular but decent. It’s not dry with a mediocre taste. Somehow I was also disappointed because they’re marketing their chicken as “the best umami chicken” which is a joke to be honest. The gravy was sooooooo bland. Mas masarap pa po gravy ng Mcdonalds and Jollibee sa totoo lang. I don’t really get the hype on Bad Bird’s chicken meals. 7/10
For the appetizer we had the mozzarella kimchi tots. It was just okay. Pwede na. It’s nice for me since wala siyang spiciness at all, which I prefer. 7/10
I’m deeply disappointed since the reviews here were good, I thought we’d have the same experience, but ours is just...
