We were already supposed to be seated at Table 29, to be exact, by our waitress, and then another waitress abruptly came to her and SAID, "Ilan sila? Dalawa lang? Dun na lang sila [sa ibang table, and then pointed at the back, Table 11].". Our waitress was hesitant to transfer us because we were already led to the table and paupo na kami, but the other waitress decided to seat HER guests kahit na 'di pa nakakasagot ung waitress namin. Sobrang rude.
So apart from us being asked to transfer seats, Table 11 WASN'T EVEN READY TO SEAT GUESTS IN YET - so we were waiting in the MIDDLE of the buffet. Mukha kaming tanga don na naghihintay.
Ang sikip nung Table 11, by the way. We also came in with other 2-pax guests, and they were seated in a comfortable table; Table 11 was apparently part of a long table of a big group, and was only extracted to seat us, kaya pala ang tagal.
We dined here for lunch on August 8, 2023 (which was a special occasion for us), so we were disappointed that we had to have gone through that experience.
To whoever that rude waitress was that day, I hope you don't do that again to other guests as it seems like it's already a habit of yours to do that; you seemed so confident doing that IN FRONT of your guests' faces - hence the 1 star. Just because we're younger than your typical guests doesn't mean you can treat us less. I can't remember your name, but there were only a few waitresses that day.

A relative of ours gave us their seats. They purchased the promo voucher.
First thing first, if you are a buffet lover and been to Sofitel a lot of times (so far I had been to Spiral buffet in Sofitel :) ), so compared to Corniche-- food quantity here was enough for the price you avail. There wasn't enough desserts, they didn't even had it refill -- not sure if its because of the Pandemic? Or closing time already? So, you need to eat fast or take the food you want to taste..while it is available. Drinks are not included, not sure with coffee/tea.
But with the quality of their food,yeah, it was great! It was also jam-packed when we dine there.
No more getting of temperatures nor vaxx cards. But everyone there still wears masks.๐๐ป
Didn't get to take pictures. Just a few of the desserts. So far I remember, there's a Mongolian Station, Filipino, Salad, fruits, bread and cheese-- but these are located in different stations, dont know why. ๐ค They also have Indian cuisine. Chinese. Japanese-- but they ran out fast of Tuna and Salmon, especially Tempura! You really need to wait at the station!! ๐ I saw 3 kinds of sushi ๐ฃ And, desserts like Halo-Halo, slices of cakes-- grab them while supplies lasts. Tarts and pastries too. Also, some candy sweets too like merengue, gummyworms, marshmallows. And ofcourse Ice cream, always present, never absent in any buffet I guess. โบ๏ธ๐ค๐
