Pho Hua is now one of my go to places for Vietnamese, Thai and Fusion noodles and cuisine. I'll give my reason for giving it 5 stars.
Food 5/5
The Pho Chi, Nam (4 Brisket, Flank Pho) that I had was absolutely delicious. It brought me back to the time when my auntie used to make us Pho, bless her heart.
The noodles were firm, the meat was sweet and savoury, the vegetables were fresh and the soup was smooth and beefy. I could understand why it was a best seller. They served it with bean sprouts and mint leaves that added to the refreshing feeling when you down the soup. The small serving was surprisingly bigger than I expected and was very filling. I also ordered freshly squeezed lemonade that was served cold. It was zesty and sweet.
They also served vegetarian options and rice dishes.
Service 5/5 The service is fast and efficient. The food took a total of 5 - 10 mins to serve which was an acceptable waiting time and they were responsive when you ask for a drink or when billing.
Atmosphere 5/5 The place was homey and relaxing. The soft guitar music added to the comforting feeling when you drink the hot soup. The walls and tables were pleasing to the eyes and it wasn't cramped.
Overall, it was a very comfortable, filling and delicious experience. I recommend it to those who love Pho and...
Read moreThis is one of my favorite comfort food we regularly go to at branches ATC and 2 locations at Festival mall. They have consistent flavors for their soup based noodles which we really like. The only let down is recently they are now serving a not so fresh basil leaves and sprouts on the sides. I asked for replacement but mentioned they have no stock, and trying to justify like forcing me to eat that almost rotten leaves. I dont usually mind but I know will have a bill of about 500/person so I’m not having it, its either they find a way to replace it or cancel our order and move to nearby branch. What pissed me off is they said they have the same supplier as the other branch, but its not up to them to decide. Our business revolves around supplying fresh produce and we replace bad items without questions asked. To the owner, replace your supplier if need be or losing your retuning customers. Train your staffs too if obviously they know what’s wrong with what they serve. Their salaries and tips...
Read moreIts an okay branch of MyThai
Compared to another branch of MyThai that I also dined in, this branch is a lot more disproportionate and more rushed. The serving size was the equal for a part of our meal and a lot less of quantity.
I was excited to present it to my girlfriend that the serving size and proportion were amazing considering the prices, but I was left a bit disappointed.
I also asked one of the staff if the meal that prepared is correct, because it clearly looked disproportionate to each other. The waitress just said "Yes" and made no effort in explaining the problem that I just stated.
The flavor of the food was okay but it could be better, the chicken skin was disappointing as well, as it tasted stale and clearly was not cooked fresh since it was already tough to the bite. The serving size compared to other branches was disappointing. Presentation wise it was rushed.
I don't know if this was the result of eating near the closing hour, but it definitely left a bad image...
