Popeyes — Restaurant in Muntinlupa

I just want to express my grave disappointment in this store’s customer service. Had dinner here last night March 16, with my Mom. Ordered food at 5:11PM. I ordered 1pc chicken with rice with drinks and cajun fries included and 2pcs chicken witn rice, and biscuit and a pie. The girl asked me what drinks I like with my meal and listed the drinks. I chose pineapple. Made my payment and went to our table. When we check our receipt I was disappointed when I saw that there was a ₱20 charge for pineapple and since we got 2, its ₱40. I felt cheated that drinks is supposed to be included on the price I paid but got charged extra for it. The cashier should’ve informed me that there will be extra charge for a pineapple drink, if I knew I would have gone with iced tea. This secret upselling is a total scam. When a customer paid for a food set with a drink, we expect that we won’t need to pay extra for it. VERY DISAPPOINTING. YOU ARE DECEIVING YOUR CUSTOMERS!

And the cashier DID NOT EVEN INFORMED ME ABOUT THE 30 MINUTES WAITING TIME. We were hungry and decided to try this place for the first time because the wall on your store says “cooked slow served fast” so we expected a faster service! But it turns out it was COOKED SLOW SERVED EXTRA SLOW! I am GREATLY DISAPPOINTED by your customer service. I went to the area where the orders were being called and stood there for a couple of minutes before got assisted. I got my food without the drinks so I HAD TO WAIT FOR COUPLE OF MINUTES MORE BEFORE I COULD GET IT!!! The crews are rude and unbothered. They did not even informed me that the pineapple was still being prepared so I had to asked for it 3times before the crew said “Maam tinitimpla pa” 🤦‍♀️

So basically I MADE THE ORDER AT 5:11 PM AND FINALLY GOT MY FOOD AROUND 5:37 PM AND I STILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR 5-10 MINUTES FOR THE DRINKS! 🤦‍♀️ Very very bad service

I suggest you hire better crews because no matter how good your food is when your customer service is bad, you will end up losing customers

Regarding the food on the other hand here’s my rating:

Fried chicken : more juicy and more savory than Mcdo’s. I liked it. 9/10 Cajun Fries : I LOVED IT! My mom thought it was kinda of salty but she also liked it. 9/10 Pineapple : it was good 8/10 Biscuit honey: nothing special. I was kinda disappointed because I expected more. Overrated 3/10 Strawberry Cheesepie : 4/10 too dry and nothing special

The rest of the food was okay, and some items were good, like their fries. However, God forbid the creation of their chicken sandwich—if you can even call it that.

When we took it home, we thought it was actually burnt. So, we decided to call Popeyes and have a new one delivered to us. The next day came, and it was still the same ungodly creation—apparently, that is how it is supposed to look. So the presentation already gets a 1/5; the only thing saving it was the immaculate buns.

I took a taste of it, and it was awful. The texture felt like cardboard, while the taste was similar to Crispy Burger by CDO, which I very much hate. Overall, the burger itself felt like a very cheap imitation of chicken on par with CDO's Ulam Burger, so 0/5.

Folks, please save your money and do not buy their chicken sandwich unless you want to be met with disappointment or you have a preference for it. In short, it is the most unappetizing meal I have had in months. I don't even do food reviews, but this was the nail in the...

To Popeyes Festival Alabang : Your Festival Alabang store sucks at customer service. Went there last Wednesday (4/13) to quickly grab food. Ordered at around 230pm since i want it take out, past 3pm already still my order was not available. Made fup around 315pm and the lead there mentioned that they are preparing na but my order is not different from those eating dine in. Around 330 when was was available the lead mentioned that i counter asked me if i was willing to wait kaya natagalan order. Seriously?!? I wasnt even asked kasi punch lang ng punch ung counter sa orders ko and never ko nadinig if i was willing to wait. Sige for sake or argument, assuming meron sinabi, 30mins na wala pa din yet those who dined in ay agad nakuha nila kanila? And from 230 to 330pm, ganun ang waiting time kahit di naman ganun kadami customer nyo.
