Drawn to try this place after watching a documentary that they are the oldest restaurant in Binondo dating back to 1888. The staff were in black shirt with The Oldest Panciteria (or something to that effect) printed on it so we had high expectations of their Pancit at the very least. Sorry to say it the Pancit was not to our liking, being on the bland side. We ordered a set meal for 4pax which and since we were quite hungry coming in at late lunch, we immediately ate the food served us but we were later told they brought us yang chow rice but we were only supposed to get the plain rice with the set so they had us pay for the price difference as a form of upgrade. The Yang Chow rice was excellent so it was worth the upgrade. The sweet and sour pork and the lemon chicken was too sour for me. The Chinese-style chicken was flavorful and the best in the meal we had. The fried lunpiang shanghai is okay but again, the sauce was too sour to my liking. Our meal (no beverage ordered) for 4 pax came out to approximately P1700++

we had brunch in here last last week expecting a decent Chinese cuisine. They’re serving water in this unsanitary pitcher not to mention the glass looks grimy. The food served had lots of rock-salt that we think was added before they put them on our table making the rice really salty even the ginger sauce :( The most upsetting part is the staff, they’re really rude and still smirking when we tried to bring the pitcher into their attention. They’re not approachable and acting lazy the whole time. Overall this branch is disappointing compared to their Bf paranaque branch.

The long-time Toho Antigua that was started in the year 1888 in Binondo, Manila, is now branching to the festival Supermall with modern-day design looks. Their Mapo Tofu is different from the usual red sauce, and it is not spicy. Their Toho Chicken has 8 pieces in one single-order, a fried chicken with sweet sauce used. Typically, it is almost a group meal because of large serving. Take note that the order has 5% service charge.

Ordered Toho Beef (Tenderloin), Lemon Chicken, and Yang Chow Fried Rice. The servings of the food items are big for two people which is good. We loved the Toho beef since it is not that salty and sweet while the Lemon Chicken leans to the sweeter side. The staff present were accommodating and fast, got our food in less than 15 minutes. The space is clean but not that cold though not too warm to be annoying either. Overall, we loved the experience in this branch, we will also check the original restaurant to compare the...
