I recently dined at Thai Lang Restaurant in Panglao and had a delightful culinary experience. For starters, we indulged in a trio of appetizers: papaya salad, chicken satay, and Thai spring rolls. The spring rolls were a standout, prompting us to order a second serving. The chicken satay, though delicious, carried a bit of heat that might be challenging for those averse to spiciness.
Moving on to the mains, our table was graced with an array of Thai delights – chicken pad Thai, beef red curry, chicken green curry, special fried rice, and egg fried rice. Each dish boasted a burst of authentic flavors, with the beef red curry earning its place as a memorable highlight.
While the taste buds were thoroughly satisfied, I must mention a couple of drawbacks. The beers, unfortunately, weren't as frosty as expected, and the timing of main course delivery left a bit to be desired – not all dishes arrived simultaneously.
Despite these minor hiccups, Thai Lang Restaurant delivered an overall positive experience with its delectable cuisine. If you're a fan of Thai flavors and can overlook a few logistics, this spot is definitely...

Read moreAttention Thai food lovers! This is by far the worst Thai food experience we ever had. This is the 164th Thai restaurant we visit and by far the worst. Especially the food ( see picture ) was tasteless and both over AND undercooked. Not even sure HOW they managed to do that. The pork tasted a little bit "bad" , the pork belly super dry with no seasoning , the spring rolls super plain and the mango salad was just dry as hell without any preparation... The best of the whole meal was the plain rice. The rest of the meal we left half untouched. The waiter/waitress was not friendly from the start and when cleaning up didn't even bother to ask if we liked the food. The only friendly staff member was the girl at the entrance.
We don't understand the positive reviews here... But hey... In the land of the blind ( tourist ), the one-eyed man is king.
Positive note: you can...
