Good Food, Good Prices. Took the family out to enjoy wife's birthday. Been wanting a good steak and potato for a while so went here. Arrived at a busy dinner time on a Thursday lots of people were there. Due to being busy seating was bit awkward with my son and me at the bar close to the wife and girls at a table, which was fine and worked. Our drink order was taken and filled quickly as we were deciding what to order. Could see the owner in the kitchen ensuring each meal was done and sent out properly. My son ordered pasta agio with seafood, i went with the black angus ribeye( they brought out the thawed steak and showed you it being weighed before being cooked), my girls ordered a burger and fries, and the wife got the grilled tuna steak. i did not time how long between when we placed the order and the food arrived but it did not seem as a long wait. Now most restaurants i have been to here they server the meals a person at a time , meaning 1 person gets their meal and then maybe 10-15 min the next person will get theirs and so on, but here we all got our meals within a few minutes basically the amount of time it took the wait staff to deliver and go from our table to kitchen and back again. each meal had good presentation and look as well as cooked properly and seasoned nicely. The whole family was happy with their meals. the wait staff were very pleasant courteous and polite. When i got the bill the cost matched the quality of the food and was to be expected. it wasn't as expensive as some places i have been to in the area and was definitely better food here. if you want a good meal go here, if you want cheap, quick, fast, easy...

Read moreOne of our very best restaurant experiences. To start with, the waitresses were charming and helpful. The menu selection was varied and catered to most tastes. The atmosphere was great. Classic rock playing, loud enough to enjoy but not so loud as to prevent normal conversations. They had a good selection of lager beers, including two of my favourites, Asahi and a simple SanMig on draft. We are not big eaters so decided to share an Angus ribeye steak. This came with a choice of potato type or rice. We opted for the baked potato with sour cream. A good choice. The potato was cooked perfectly and the sour cream an ideal accompaniment. So much so that we quickly ran out but a top up was no problem. This came with a choice of accompaniments and a dive into the salad bar. But the real treat was the steak. I am so often disappointed by steak in restaurants that I sometimes wonder why I bother. My wife had heard good things about the Mac Cow steak though so we took the plunge and went for the Angus ribeye. We asked for medium rare and it was cooked perfectly.
