Very BAD experience while staying in this hotel. Don’t recommend that you book this place there if you want to have a pleasant stay.

First of all the room was so dirty. The whole bedsheet was in the black stains. We asked them to check it so one lady came into our room and said that this is not dirty… but they can change the bedsheet. After that the cleaning staff came with a „fresh one” which was dirty as well… They brought a third bedsheet which was the least dirty of all.

Second of all, the room is so smelly. It has a terrible smell of damp & mold. There are lots of mosquitos in the room and we have even seen the big jumping spider in the room as well. We have also received towels with someone else hairs on the top of it.

The staff is not interested in the guests at all. This place is located on the main street which makes the apartment noisy at night. The rooms are located just behind the bar where they also have live concerts and loud music. The only advantage is that you have 7/11 and Mc Donald’s 1...

Rating the bar, not the hotel.

Beachside bar without the beach (just a short walk away but certainly not line of sight). Selection of liquors and beer, both imports and Filipino. Three pool tables which are in actually better condition than I'd expect for an open air beach bar. Cues are rough as to be expected. Felt is stained but otherwise playable. Certainly not high end tables or experience but if you like to shoot pool while you're drinking with friends this isn't a bad spot to do it.

Not fancy by a long shot. However they had the cleanest comfort room (CR/men's restroom) I've seen for this level of establishment. While that may be the case mid-afternoon on a Sunday I wouldn't expect it to be so tidy at midnight on Saturday night. Still, the cleanliness of the restroom makes me hopeful about the state of their kitchen. Full menu of Western and Filipino favorites. Come casual and stay...

Had a breakfast here once. I love how they are very particular with the food that the guests order. As for me, I prefer sunny side up eggs that are not too overly-well done and they made it for me. I also love their black pepper grinder and how fresh their black pepper is! There is one thing that I don't really like-- it's their instant coffee. I was expecting an overflowing of brewed coffee but settled for a Nescafe althought its not too bad, I love real coffee early in the morning.

The place has so many books but their books are not English so I wasn't really able to do some reading.

The place is cozy and has a garden at the side or was it an overgrowth of bushes, but I love it. It added a homey feel to the place so all in all, I can really recommend this place to others and will definitely go back if I'm somewhere near Alona Beach...

The staff here are the rudest I’ve had. We’ve been in the Philippines for 5 weeks and the 2 women at the bar and “checkin” were so unwelcoming… I speak enough of the language to get by and it’s like they didn’t even want our service. Booked via Booking.. turned up and they had an argument about why we were allowed to book the room in the first place.. made no eye contact and wouldn’t answer questions when asked if there was a problem. The bed sheet was filthy.. I asked for a new one and got it hours later… and again on checkout.. just the rudest 2 women. Location is good though! Broken toilet seat stuck together with a sticker of a leaf made me laugh! Just backpackers so you get what you pay for.
