Iâve probably eaten here more than 2 dozen times. We are on a tiny little island with frequent brown outs (no electricity) and the supply chain is a little more difficult in remote places like this.
However Kajun hits it out of the park each and every time that Iâve eaten here. Iâve brought many people here to eat and Iâve not hear one complaint.
It reminds me of a Rasing Caines from the USA; the food is always served hot and fresh. There are so many so called âresortsâ within minutes of walking and very few can stack up to the food quality and service of Kajun.
They are really 12 for 12 on my visits with the food, atmosphere, and dining experience.
If you like chicken, burgers or wraps you wonât find a better spot in all of Bohol in my opinion. The beer is served ice cold and the prices are super reasonable for being on a tiny island.
I do want to mention the cheesesteak sandwich, which is my favoriteâŚ.it always served super hot and delicious, honorable mention to the Kajun chicken wrap.
You can dine out front or eat inside with ice cold air...
Read moreThis was just bad! Ordered the seafood salad for 380 pesos which came with calamari and shrimp. This was literally just lettuce, plain shrimp, teaspoon of canned sweet corn and sliced red pepper and topped with some olive oil with a hint of lemon for a vinaigrette.
To top it off, there were 4 small pieces of still frozen ârubberâ calamari. It was so bad, I spoke to the waiter (who was lovely) and they offered a replacement with no calamari and extra shrimp. An improvement as there were no calamari but just as âsadâ looking.
My hubby got a chicken burger meal and added mashed potato. MP and the gravy was instant and gross. Small pieces of chicken and the fries tasted like âold oilâ.
A very expensive disappointment. Would not recommend. Waiter was very apologetic! So many other good places to eat...
Read moreMe and Wifey went tonight 3/17/23 and this by far the best food we have had in the two weeks we have been in Bohol. If you are an American like me and you are craving for some food like back home, this will be the place you need to go because it is comparable to a TGIF, Applebees, Ruby Tuesdays type of restaurant but IMO better.
We did the chicken basket meal and fries and it was just like a spicy Cajun style meal you would expect back home.
The staff was super friendly and where very accommodating and went out of their way to get anything we needed.
I have nothing bad to say and WILL be going back in a day or two to try more of their menu.
Why get McDonalds or Jollybee straight across the street when you can get a much better meal for just a few Pesos more at Kajuns.
HIGHLY HIGHLY...
