The spiciness and piquancy of the papaya salad was spot on. The stir-fried morning glory was savory, though some end parts are a bit chewy/fibrous. The red curry (pork) was unctuous and amazing. The thai omelette was a letdown though, none of the umami flavored with a bit of acidity and hint of fish sauce & with crisp edges and fluffy interiors Kai Jeow is known for. It just reminded me of egg omelettes I've bungled cooking during my college days. Definitely not worth its price. No wines available by the glass (a bottle is too much for 2, and my nephew is driving). Wait staffs were attentive initially, but were overwhelmed when more group of diners came in. The housedog came in and went out of the closed glass-swing back door by pushing and opening it himself (amazing). Swatted couple of mozzies at the airconditioned dining area. We can see the "batalan" of the neighboring house from the glass window where we were seated. The bill including 1 serving of rice and 1 mango shake came to about 2.1k...
Read moreIf you’re visiting Bohol, Wonderland is an absolute gem you mustn’t miss! I was so impressed with the food during my first visit that I couldn’t resist returning to explore even more of their menu. The flavours are outstanding, and the portions are incredibly generous—perfect for sharing.
I highly recommend going with friends, ordering a selection of dishes, and experiencing as much as you can. Some of my top recommendations include Khao Soi, Som Tom, Tom Yum Goong, Tom Yum Pla Nam Sai, Ko Mo Yang, Poo Pod Pong Curry, Pad Thai, Kao Pad, Kao Pad Kra Tiam, Pad Pong Pai Daeng, and Lui Suan. But honestly, everything on the menu is absolutely delicious.
The service was also exceptional—our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The atmosphere is charming, with plenty of picture-perfect spots for capturing lovely memories. If you’re after a memorable dining experience in Bohol, Wonderland is the...

Food, average, a solid 4, there’s room for improvement. Thai is a distinct flavor and a cuisine that is as unique as it’s country, to capture it’s elusive taste, ingredients must be sourced from its origin. Nevertheless, the food fared very well.
What took the 2 stars here was the band. It was too loud, their music is unique and better of as background, they don’t play mainstream so not everyone can connect, and when they were asked to tone it down a bit, one of the member was upset saying this was the house of music? (Sic) and foreigners are here on our land (i think that’s a bit harsh considering Filipinos are known for their hospitality and easygoing nature, this is just plain embarrassing to all the customers especially for me as a local.
I have ran restaurants before, if I may give you one nugget of advice, the customer is always right. Cheers!...
