Aling Tonya's Seafood Palutuan — Restaurant in Pasay

ALING TONYA’S MACAPAGAL 📍Rating: 1/10 Aling Tonya’s was good since more than a decade ago, but unfortunately this morrning around 12nn March 25, 2023, our market bought 3kgs of large to XL shrimps were not served to us and instead we were given medium sized shrimps. I know the look and size of what I bought since I personally picked them. We were served buttered garlic shrimp that were smaller than I bought and I thought the bigger ones were put in the tempura but sadly, none in there. We will never again go back to Aling Tonya’s. Enough is enough. There are other restaurants there that cook flavourful dishes. I thought I was matured and well-experienced already not to br victimized by scammers and opportunist but I was wrong. Their staffs were only after getting customers when still outside the store, but once you’re inside. It would seem that you’re not as significant than when you were still outside…They would put the blame on you and they would suggest that you are the one who is at fault even if ive been buying & cooking shrimp for more than half of my life! These are just facts base on my experience. It just made me realized that trust can still be broken even if youve known someone for quite a long time. Ive posted a comment in their fb page but I got blocked just a few minutes after I posted it. Poor customer service. The owner should be hand-on when dealing with these kinds of complaint/ #alingtonyasmacapagal #neveragain...

Aling Tonya's has been our favorite for decade or so. But my last visit changed all that view. The cooking charges is now way too expensive, more expensive than the raw mudcrab on a per kilo basis. The charges for a kilo and half are the same, they explained that this is because the ingredients are of the same quantity. Lastly, I ordered 2 x 1.5L mountain dew, they didn't informed us of the price, the bill says Php300 for the two mountain dews. That's over 300% because the SRP of Mt dew is 48pesos. We feel we've been roobed. All in all, there were four of us, for the two kilo dishes we ate (shrimps and crabs), we paid the same amount of a 4-person all-you-can-eat buffet from Yakimix. Maybe it's time we all...

We ate at aling tonyas last night. We have tried aling tonyas before and we love how they cook our paluto but last night was a big disappointment. Since all of us are tired, when the waiter offered that they can for buy for us, we agreed and that was our biggest mistake they charged us too high, for example the sugpo they charge us was 680 but the one they served to us so small. The restaurant is so dirty there are too many cockroach crawling around. The liempo is served when we are almost finish so we didn't finish the liempo and ask them to wrap it for us since we got a lot of take outs when we reach home we found out that the liempo is not included. Tsk! Aling tonyas...
