A restaurant claiming to serve authentic Italian cuisine, but unfortunately, it was far from the quality and experience we were expecting. Here’s why:
Food Quality: The pizza we ordered, topped with gorgonzola, was disappointing. The gorgonzola was barely there, making it almost impossible to taste its distinctive flavor. The carbonara was passable but nothing remarkable. We also tried the lamb chop, cooked medium as requested, but it was mostly fat and bone. For the price they charge, the quality of the meat was completely unacceptable.
Service Issues: The service was frustratingly disorganized. We ordered two salads as starters, but they only brought one, despite repeating our order back to us. To make matters worse, the salad was served with the main courses instead of as a starter.
The server seemed overwhelmed and disorganized. When he repeated our order, he struggled to read his own handwriting, which was a bit embarrassing and didn’t inspire much confidence. Worse, the lack of communication was frustrating. The server had to check twice how we wanted the salad dressing (balsamic and olive oil instead of honey dressing). After asking about the dressing two times, he came back a third time to ask how we wanted the lamb cooked—something that could have been clarified in one go.
Service Charge – Not Justified: The servers seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than attending to customers. Despite our feedback about the poor service and the missing salad (which was still charged on the bill!), there was no apology or acknowledgment. The lack of accountability and professionalism left a bitter taste.
Final Verdict: This restaurant is far from "authentic Italian." The mediocre food, chaotic service, and inflated prices made for an unpleasant experience. Adding a 10% service charge to this kind of service feels like an insult.
We won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone seeking quality Italian food or good service. There are far better options out there....

The food is very bland, the pasta isn't creamy, the noodle is thick it's unappetizing. The steak is very dry, roasted chicken is also a letdown esp the side dish.
I raised my concern with the staff. She called Ricca, the manager. Accdg to her, their original chef transferred to another branch. But, it's not an excuse because recipes are standardized. It should be prepared and cooked the same way.
Unfortunately, their food looks and tastes different from before. My daughter even rushed to the bathroom and feels nauseous because she had a bad stomach ache from their food. I think it's an old stock or it was not prepared properly.
2 yrs ago: If you are craving for authentic Italian food, this is the right choice. The pizza and pasta were so delicious and flavorful.
April 2022: Food still tasted great! I love the tenderloin steak, it's very tender and seasoned perfectly well. The fettuccine alfredo has a subtle taste not overpowered with cheese. But the pasta itself is a bit thick for my liking.
Nov 2022: They maintained the food quality and serving size is proportionate to price. Super love their house salad, 5-cheese lasagna, 6-cheese pizza and Rigatoni pasta cooked in the Parmigiano cheese wheel. Truly authentic Italian food! 😊
Jun 2023: We ordered the rigatoni with truffle mushroom, fettuccine alfredo, 5-cheese lasagna and 6-cheese pizza. The pizza tasted good and the cheese lasagna was great. But I'm a bit disappointed with the two pastas that were cooked on the Parmigiano cheese wheel. It was rushed that's why it wasn't creamy at all. For me, the Italian owner cooks way better than the staff assigned to that station. It was really...
Read moreWow our first night in Manila. On the face of it this looked a nice restaurant with a good menu. Unfortunately the reality was very different for us.
My wife's meal came 15 minutes before mine. When my meal did come the chicken was overcooked to the point where I couldn't actually get the fork through the burned crumbs. The chicken should have come with fries but to my surprise I got spaghetti. So I raised it with the waiter, he brushed me off saying it was a typo on the menu. I explained 'fries' and 'spaghetti' are rather different words thus a rather material 'typo'. I sent the food back and the staff were then very rude to us, deliberately avoiding us, throwing the card machine at us and generally treating us like we were being unreasonable to expect edible food which we had actually ordered.
Not sure if we just had a bad experience but it was certainly a very bad start to our...
