Food was great. Service was terrible. Right off the bat, the server who showed us our table was giving us attitude because we insisted to be seated together when she wanted to separate us. We are a family of 8, celebrating my daughter’s graduation weekend. It was our last day in Manila. My 2 aunts came home from abroad just for this occasion, so of course we wanted to be together. The server was like a disgruntled teenager sighing and rolling her eyes when we insisted on what we wanted. They took our order, though again with scowls and sour faces. They got it wrong several times, but we were so hungry we didn’t insist anymore, no mackerel was served though it was a point of long conversation because it was the only fish available. They took at least 3x to ask for one dish. Fine. When the food came, of course we had specific wants and requests, as an unlimited food restaurant, they should anticipate that customers would ask for more of specific foods but everytime we flag down and ask for more of one thing or another, the server (different from the first) would scowl as if we were of an inconvenience. One time my aunt was trying to give her a used plate to clear and she just turned her back and went away, my aunt’s hand with plate up in the air. Rude. We ordered another set of the meat and for some reason we were given spicy enoki as well as regular though we did not order it, we just got it since we didn’t want to inconvenience them further. We did not finish the food, knowing we had to pay for the left overs. The sticking point was that they refused to give us the left over cooked meat that we were agreeing to pay for. It does not make sense. We pay 500 per head extra for the meat and then we just leave it? Were they trying to sell it to other customers? Coz whats the use of “no waste” policy if they’re gonna waste it? We were more than willing to pay for the extra food - as long as we got to take it with us. They had to call the manager to fix the issue, which she did, though her statement was funny. “We’ll ALLOW YOU TO TAKE IT.” As if we didn’t pay for it, as if the policy was not to waste food, as if we were beggars. Aside from that, they wanted card transactions to be cut into 3, because we also had senior discount. It was another round of explanations and exasperation. We just wanted out of there. My aunts were usually great tippers, coming from New York where tipping was mandatory, she was used to leaving big amounts for servers and attendants, but this time she only left ₱200 in her frustration. Please improve your service as its so disappointing to bring family from abroad to establishments and tell them “Oh, its great there!” And we all end up frustrated and...
Read moreFood quality was good. It's the service that isn't. We ordered earlier than the nexxt table to us, but they finished and left earlier than us. Took them almost 2 hours to complete out order.
We ordered 2 Korean Fried chicken, 1 in mild and 1 in spicy. Upon ordering, the order taker thought we are ordering 1 order with half of mild and half spicy. We corrected them twice for them to understand.
The Korean Fried Chicken was the last dishes that was served, first the waitress said that the chicken served was Spicy and not mild. So my son did not eat it as prefers to eat the mild one. our second order came, and the chicken had chilis on top. We were confused, which one was spicy and which one was mild?
Mind you, the orders came in 20-30 mins interval so waiting was main thing we did that night. It was a horrible experience after receving the order that was supposed to be mild, it turns out to spicy and the first one that was served was mild.
My son said "lets not go here again." It was a fail. And because of this I do not recommend this branch.
We ordered salad and we had to ask them where was our salad. It was the time we finished our samgyupsal, soup, korean pancake etc. The waitress was like "oh are we going to serve it now?" And we were so confused, "arent you supposed to order it on the first part of the meal?"
Horrible...
Read moreI’d love to give a big shoutout to MJ for taking such great care of us at our table. He is incredibly friendly and has a fantastic sense of humor that never fails to make us laugh while serving and assisting with our orders.
I also want to commend Mark Anthony for his outstanding service. Even during the busiest moments when his team calls on him for assistance, he still takes the time to check in on us and ensure our food and experience are excellent. His warm smile never fades no matter how hectic it gets.
On top of that, the entire staff was very accommodating. We truly appreciated how they made us feel welcome and never like a bother, even when we requested to swap out some side dishes that weren’t to our taste.
This was our first visit to this branch, and I can say that I’d be more than happy to return for another great experience with such wonderful people! Kudos to team Bulgogi...
