We always go to MOA and eat dinner there. We always walk through this restaurant and wonder why not so many people eat there even if it is busy time(dinner time).
Okay, so we gave it a shot. Ordered their seafood soup, fried noodles with crab paste and fried pork with rice.
My husband liked the soup, BUT when he tried the fried noodle, the CRAB PASTE IS NOT FRESH. It was broken. This is our first time ever to complain about food, ig it is not a big deal we just get over with it.
We told the staff, they took the food, we thought they will change it with fresh crab paste. BUT NO, the waiter went back and insisted it was not spoiled(panis). I told him we dont want it then, why would we eat a spoiled food. He said it was already cooked and dont want to take it back. LoL okay??? So i just told my husband to remove the crab paste, and he couldnt really eat it. Told him to stop as I dont want him to have a stomachache. Just unbelievable, too expensive for its price and served spoiled food 🙂
Never experienced this with Chinese or Japanese rrstaurants we always go to. Look like they dont really care about their clients.
Oh, and before we were served food I have complained to my husband that their kitchen is very loud. Sound of utensils clunking very loudly. Cannot enjoy the ambience inside the restaurant.
DEFINITELY WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. THEY DESERVE...
Read moreAs a restaurant it is well placed within the Mall of Asia.
The menu is not too large, but is fairly reflective of Thai food, although to be honest it is not the best Thai food I have sampled im the Philippines.
They state that the food is spicy, sadly that is not the case, I find that it is lazy technique to just add chillis to make it as such even though it was not.
They do not have their own washrooms and parking os available in the Mall Parking which as a set charge of 50php.
Gain clarity over the rice as it is small whilst the Chicken in Green Curry is suitable for 1 person only.
They offer an executive meal during the week which is well priced and reasonable in ots presentation and content.
The ice tea is produced onsite and is not over sweet like other locations.
It was annoying that the starter the Papaya salad came after i had finished the Green Chicken Curry. It was a small portion but was actually more spicy than the curry but again more so by the use of the chillis.
Value for money? It is quite good for what you are offered.
Would i recommend? Yes give it a try but do not be fearful of the curry being spicy.
Will I return? Possibly, just to try the red curry and the fact it is...
Read moreWe decided to come here because many other restaurants were fully booked due to the Sunday dinner rush. Unfortunately, the prices were high, and the portions were small.
The most unacceptable part of our experience was the red curry beef. It was so overloaded with chilis that our children were sweating, and even the adults couldn’t handle the heat. We couldn’t eat it at all. When we mentioned this to the staff, they simply said it was the natural taste of the dish. However, the overwhelming amount of red chili in the curry was far from normal.
The whole experience felt like dining at a low-quality Thai fast-food place—poor food, poor service, and a lackluster ambiance. It was a complete waste of money.
Even the other dishes were not as good as we expected. I suggest going to other Thai restaurants like Basil, The Elephant, or Siam Thai, which offer much better quality. We definitely won’t be returning...
