Blake's Wings & Steaks - Ayala Malls TriNoma — Restaurant in Quezon City

Theres always a long line to get in. Took advantage of the off peak hours just to get a seat and try this place out. Aside from the wings, the steak seems to be on every table I see. For starters, the nachos is huge... the appetizer is meant for like 3 or 4 people. Its crunchy, lots of garlic sauce and its good. Waiting time for the food to be served is a bit long and its not yet even rush. Everything was served on the same time. Steak is tender. a bit underseasoned and lots of tendon. Could be seared a bit longer but overall still a good steak meal for the price. Wings are messy with all the sauce. The meat just slides away from the bone when you bite into it. Its really good. Better taste profile than the steak in my opinion. Should have ordered a crispy dry rub wings to balance all that sauce in the meal. All the meals are portioned for sharing which is a good thing if you're out with your friends and the price points not too heavy. We ordered two porterhouse steaks but only one was served. The server also didn’t ask if the order was complete, in other branches, they usually double-check if our order is complete, so we assumed the other steak might have just been left out

When I noticed it was taking too long, we followed up with another waiter. He checked, but after more than 10 minutes passed, we had to follow up again. That’s when we were told the second steak wasn’t even prepared. It was clearly written on the order form that we asked for two steaks, the waiter who took our order even repeated it back to us, and we confirmed it twice. Still, it never came. Honestly, I was just left hungry.

Also, last week I ordered takeout and was told it would take 20 minutes, but I ended up waiting for over 40 minutes.

We ate here today, after completing our order on the phamplet, we were informed that salads are not available and questioned if we are not informed ahead. We said no because we were not told prior seating, so looks like customers should be informed ahead just like on any other restau. But we let it pass. We ordered, soup, steak, drinks and dessert (to be served later- they asked us so yes we agreed). As per their food, the steak was dry, soup is okay but soup bowl was not provided ahead and have to ask for it. Fast forward, we are done on our main course yet dessert is not yet ready. Staff are not attentive, they should be as they asked if dessert is to be served later. We even asked twice before they serve it. Lastly, we have take-out, I noticed that some have paperbag with handles but on ours it's just a paperbag w/o handle.
