I've been to so many korean grills this is by far the worst I've been to. I get that this is a cheap korean grill but still I've been to much more cheaper korean grill their service is way more better than this one.
Here, staffs seems like they wanted to go home, they do everything half hearted, staffs seemed to be pissed whenever they are called. I get it they are tired but I work in customer service as well, even if we are tired we always keep up a smiling face even if it is fake.
The staffs on duty for 1/5/2025 around 2-4pm are very unenthusiastic, very unwelcoming and did not even smile. They should remember that even if the food quality is poor, good service makes up everything.
One girl with short hair even shouted "wait lang!" When we raised our hand to call them. Is that how you attend to people?
One staff even ignored us when we mde eye contact as I was about to ask for a refill. He is the tallest guy there, I failed to get his name.
The ambiance is not good, no music at all. Toilet is very dirty.
Cheese is not unlimited, you will be forced to pay another 100 pesos per head to get unlimited cheese in that teeny tiny container. Payment is needed despite the very limited menu.
I was not able to hear that properly at first, so I told the staff that the only two of us will pay for the unlimited cheese; the girl with the short hair said "ano maam?" With a tone in her voice. We asked for the chicken and water several times but no one gave us until the lady with long hair wearing a dress gave us. She is the only one happy there The only thing I am thankful for is they are pet friendly.
Food is okay, I recommend the bulgogi. Meats are limited and the chicken that you paid of can be bought outside because it is nothing special I can't say anything else.
Really we should not believe the good reviews from Tiktok.
They failed to live up to expectations. It is a SamgyeopSad. (No soup btw) Will never return here and I do not recommend. Unless people wanted to experience the poorest service...
Read moreUsed to be my go to place for midnight comfort foods but my last 3 dine-ins with them were disasters.
I was already comfortably sitting on one of the tables with side dishes already served and was just waiting for the plated meats to grill. When a group of people arrived and couldn't settle on the remaining tables, one of the waitress (around 30ish years of age and a bit chubby) volunteered to move me to another table without consulting/asking me. Heard it out loud, 'move natin si sir dun..'. You can't move customers just like that especially if they've already started eating and without their consent. Kabastusan yun.
Luckily the other waiter (yung medyo may itsura, well isa lang naman siya na medyo may looks dun) opposed her from moving me. Probably he recognized me as one of their regulars (have been a patron there even before pandemic) or maybe he realized that it was indeed a hassle to move at that point.
From my last visit, and this is what triggered this review.. At the bottom of the platelet of the fish cake side dish, there were some leftover chap chae noodles (which is another of their side dishes). What's my point??? I think, they might be recycling left over side dishes from previous customers or if not, then they aren't cleaning/washing those greasy side dish plates. And that can also be true for the meats, combined left overs from other customers.
The place is not well maintained. The floor is sticky and it feels like stepping on an oily floor (probably some oils from the table/grills dripped down). The wall looks untidy, most tubular vents are not working and even the sign board 'Gangnam Grill' outside is a mess.
The waitress gave me a torn 100 peso bill (quarter of that bill was on scotch tape to hold it into one piece) as part of the change. That 100 peso bill was not accepted by any...
Read moreI have never made any review of any place because if I can just say it in person, I don’t have to resort to social media.
However, I felt compelled to make this post because there is no one to talk to other than the waiters who are not equipped to answer anything.
This place is near my business. I always work late, hence, I treated this as my go to place. I’ve been a client from the day it started until the owners worked hard to make their restaurant loved by people.
Not so many options in food. Not invested on the place. But the owners made the place feel homey. The Filipino staff were also happy serving their bosses.
However, I think my visit dies today with the change in policy and menu.
I hate the blinking Christmas lights. It’s hurting my eyes. There’s a table beside your tree and it’s literally causing eyes to sore.
You have a policy on a minimum of two persons. I have observed many people eating without companion. For years I have seen them come and go. What about them? Are people only allowed to eat when accompanied?
Your policy of all unlimited is unhealthy and unreasonable.
A. It’s forcing people to eat more than they should because they cannot take away their paid food for later
Unreasonable for people like myself who is not into eating so much but have been a customer for many years with my staff, family, friends and fiance. I am not a fan of unlimited food and I am not fond of throwing away my left over. I take it away so that others may benefit from my paid food. Hence, I never order unlimited food.
This is my last day eating here. Good luck.
Message to previous owners: Thank you for the years of making my meals homey when I am unable to have meals at home.
P. S. This is the first time my arms touched a very sticky table. Please sanitize...
