Gerry’s Grill Cubao – A Must-Try for Filipino Comfort Food!

If you’re craving delicious Filipino dishes with excellent service, Gerry’s Grill Cubao is the perfect spot! The warm and inviting atmosphere makes it a great place to enjoy a meal with family and friends.

We ordered the tortang talong, kare-kare, and fried lumpiang shanghai, and every dish was absolutely delicious. The tortang talong was cooked just right, with a smoky flavor that paired perfectly with their dipping sauces. The kare-kare was rich and creamy, with tender meat and a generous serving of bagoong on the side. And, of course, the fried lumpiang shanghai was crispy, flavorful, and addictive—perfect for sharing!

To top it all off, we had their Gerry’s Grill House Blend Iced Tea, which was refreshingly good and complemented the meal perfectly. Definitely a must-try!

A big shoutout to our server, Ace, who provided top-notch service. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.

Sharing some observation as of November 2021

-Physically, the place looks okay but when you enter and start to observe details, you will realize the floor is not clean, the wooden foundation seems to be consumed by termites, there are objects that seems to be placed inappropriately and is not appealing to customer.

-I requested to be seated in the table near the window but since the table is for four the waiter who assisted us discouraged us and pointed us to the seat in the middle since it’s just the table for two that’s available. He didn’t even bother to do something to accomodate our preference.

-The table that was given to us is unstable and is shaking but instead of transferring us to a better seat, the waiter just placed a folded cardboard under each foot of the table.

-We’ve ordered sisig and Tuna Belly. It would take a while to serve the food. The taste is satisfactory except for the garlic rice that is not served hot. What makes us uncomfortable also are the flies that roams around our table.

-Service of some waiter is good we are offered water...

Our go to place for a great food experience. Special favorites will always be their grilled seafood, tinomok, sisig, pinakbet and now their ube macapuno delight for desserts. Happy that their staff is very accommodating & friendly. Kudos to Gloan, their manager who makes you feel at home whenever you dine in. She mingles from table to table checking every customer’s need. Let’s be honest this is what’s lacking in the resto industry and I hope they will emulate this branch & resto as this will keep customers coming back. We’re happy that they added pompano on their menu. I hope that they can add Gindara as well. I will always recommend this to foreigners & Filipino’s alike. Til our next dine in. Since my daughter was in highschool until now that she’s working this is where we’ll always be. We’ve tried diff resto’s yet we will always go back to Gerry’s Grill Alimall, home away from home.
