Been here several times coz I really enjoy what Goodah has to offer and I always remember my and reminisce my childhood days visiting the.Greenhills branch late at night or in the wee hours of the morning with uncles and cousins however, this last visit the experience was not that good like before. I took my seat on the couch as I wanted to relax even the table infront of me needs busing. There were a couple of tables as well that hasnt been cleaned up. One staff started busing even the door guard was taking away the plastic bootles but instead of cleaning up the ones where customers like me have already taken the table where it still needs busing, shouldnt they prioritize these tables instead of the empty ones? I just observed them and they didnt clean up the mess in front of me up until my orders came. How inconsiderate is that? Probably needs retraining on quality customer service... I ordered for the Goto Special with extra egg on the side my usually pick, a side dish of tokwa't baboy and sago't gulaman... the goto taste was bland, not like before and had to pour most of the Tokwa't Baboy sauce coupled into it coupled wih calamnsi to it give it a better taste. The Tokwa't Baboy is good but the Sago't Gulaman was down the drain... you can't even taste the harnibal, already watered down, even the sago was not chewy... this was nothing compared to a P10 Sago't Gulaman or Samalamig in the streets or carinderia. I also noticed your prices increased, I do understand the reason BUT please do maintain or improve your services and food quality to justify it. Still Goodah will always be a food joint to go to especially during midnight or early morning...
Read moreThe first Goodah we dined in back then was in Baclaran, as endorsed by Boy Abunda. Then we also visited Market Market branch. Unfortunately, both are closed now.
These are what we ordered tonight here in the much bigger Timog store...
Lomi in a big bowl with kikiam meatball and chicharon. Lugaw a bit salty. It was on unli promo, yet consistent in quality not watery. Even the refill is not shortchanged, it always came with ginger scallions calamansi fried garlic and crispy wrappers. Pancit big size with generous toppings. It was my fave of these foods, flavors just right, not overly saucy nor oily. Leche flan very soft, not makunat.
They have a toilet and separate hand wash area.
Server is very polite.
Clean place, though a bit dim light. Casual fastfood style feels.
Spacious parking, with security guard.
Serving time for the lugaw and lomi is quite fast, but had to wait a bit for the pancit. In fact those two orders (lomi and lugaw) were already filling for 2 people that we had to take out the pancit.
Various items in the menu, affordable price especially for a place here in Timog where most restos are expensive.
Yes this place used to be the infamous Ozone disco where it took a while before someone occupied this space after...
